Not avaliable, just link the jpg link or post here.
Please take note:
The reason why you are unable to see the photo is because you are not in the Facebook group. I found this picture on one of the bus enthusiasts group, so i tried to copy the link and paste it here. Apparently it doesn't work.
So here is the actual one.
Image NOT own by me. It's by Muhd Zakaria from Facebook.

Why SBS Transit is scrapping the CNG buses so soon? They only have 8-15 years of lifespan including the demonstrator,SBS 1688K. Will SBS 1688K,the demonstrator will also be scrapped too?

the demo unit is diesel powered ...
Did you know?
Some of the SMRT rigid buses still have the guides racks intact as of today.

As mentioned by someone in a thread focused on this matter, it is indeed fake.

Yeah... I went to check on BIS wall and didn't find any pics about CNGs buses, and if it's real, why the person would make the color into black and white?
But it might still be real, but I still see CNGs kicking on svcs, so shld be fake de.

On the dash board, in the centre, there are 2 squares.
When the bus moves off, it will go from D 1 to D 5(the max i saw as my trip was on normal road)
When it slows down, it will return from D 5 back to idling D 1
Point to note : D 1 to D 3 jumps quite fast...
this is the gear.... same as car.. 1st gear to 2nd gear and so on.
D=Drive, got N and R also...

Nope. All 12 are intact. That picture was photoshopped.

Why is it in black and white? How can someone go into the scrapyard to take a photo? It could have been another bus in the scrapyard as the rego is missing. Probably 1688K.

SBS1688K comes from HGDEP not SLBP, it couldn't be doing service 105.

Isn't HGDEP partially controlling 105?

Yep, but SBS1688K is not deployed on 105. It is deployed on 84.
That photo was just a random scrapyard photo with a B10BLE CNG inserted into it. It is colored black and white to make the photoshop edits less obvious, but if you observe closely there are traces of the edits.

Also, the bus itself is using back desto, whereas SBS1688K already had an EDS, to my knowledge, I don't remember SBS1688K using back desto last month when I saw it.

Can u tell us what r the traces to edits?
And i guess the person just white-painted the rego and made some of the "damaged parts".

Maybe he removed the EDS and replaced it with back desto during photoshop
SBS6000L-SBS6149S have smaller aircon vents than SBS6150L-SBS6285G and SBS6300X-SBS6341C.

The rear of SBS1688K is quite different from the CNGs. Below are 2 photos for comparison.

The production batch does not have the slope on the roof of the bus, has more grills and the rear lights on the top are the standard LEDs found on the other buses (e.g Scanias).
