The rubber strips you find onboard buses with Gemilang bodywork (the OCs, KUBs and MANs) are actually used to cover up gaps between the interior panels! (Found this out on a RapidKL King Long also with Gemilang bodywork, WVC6428)

It is the same bus, according to this source it says that the bus have been re-registered 2 times. The whereabouts and fate of the second prototype is unknown. The model name is also known as the S80 (S80 is the name used for all the O405 prototypes).
Actually this prototype dd was originally meant for TraditionsBus Berlin (BVG), but for some reasons BVG did not accept the trial. If they did, perhaps the production batch O405 dds would have existed. And SBS would likely have operated O405 dds on top of their O405 and O305 dds.
