im guessing that the 3digit Regos are for high capacity buses
You know what is a trade plate?
Trade plate is a blue colour plate that usually hangs at the rear, next to the rego. On the front also have.
Anyways, 1405U spotted at Coporation Rd..

Nope, it is an exact rego that can be registered soon. The trade plate is not the rego itself.

Then likelyhood, it might be further rego instead of SMB1400H...
I guess SMRT ordered 550 instead, since sb replied here.

They want to standardize their fleet by having just only MAN and MB buses. If not later repeat the same mistake by buying too many models and then cannot maintain well (eg Scania L113CRL ELBO and Dennis Lance).

I dun mind if theres 300 A22s with Lion city hybrid body and another 100 is other design gemilang bodied.
If there is MAN 12m DDs then i dun mind having 2 different bodies and gearbox.
Just another 100 units of Scania/Volvo or E300 is enough, rest maintain it well
Pardon me for the bump.
SMB 1409J spotted with new livery, being cover up with black plastic bag.
At ...?
Now they got hell of a job to restickered all their SMB fleets and later TIB batch buses....Cost$$$$$ & timeee
