SMB1408L onwards MAYBE have the new livery. Who knows?
Just saw a MAN with new livery, but the livery is being covered up by black plastic bag.
EDS showing 176 route, spotted at 4:20PM, turning right into Woodlands Ave 9. Suspect is otw to WLDEP.

Yes, its going to WLDEP...
Just some heads-out that Habit, SMB3067Z already got new livery... Coming soon!
I wonder why it's the second working day of 2014 (or rather January 2014) and yet no BSEP MANs are registered...
Have... But skipped SMB3098J and SMB3099G maybe going for repaint? Anyway, this means the new livery should be publicised around this month to Feb...

Most probably replace soon deregistred O405s?
SMB1350T to SMB1358Y still spare. Maybe the Batch 2 is enough to replace the 4xx and 5xx and maybe the 6xx

Sound more like SMRT Buses currently have more than enough buses...

It is more than enough only when the deregistering ones are still left with number of days...

True, but the deregistering buses...will be deregistered, so the total will be deducted, making it enough buses. And even if they have more than enough, how about they keep it for spares? Low maintainence makes me fear that bus accidents will be happenin' quickly.
there will definitely be more A22s brought in, just a matter of when and quantity. SMRT is in bad need of a fleet xpansion, and im quite convinced that the add. 290 buses from BSEP wont be enough, and also mentioned earlier on that the 405s are due for retirement, there will have to be more A22s brought in.
Alternate Scenario: IF there are NO MORE A22s brought in, it can only imply that whatever O405s that retire may be replaced by DDs with the overall capacity staying constant, which can only mean that SMRT will experience a fleet shrink, which isnt what it quite needs in terms of capacity nor availability of buses.
but on a related note, IF they are going to bring in more A22s, pretty pls remove that hair.
SMRT must buy this.

I have already counted... For this year till Dec, TIB442R till TIB764L will dereg which is a total of 222 buses to go. Not including those remaining Scanias or DAFs which I dunno may extend to 19 years or not.
As much i hate to say this SMRT need more than MANs.Another problem depot space, both Wldep/Wlbp already at its maximum capacity..Kjdep also very packed at night and no need to mention about Amdep.Maybe they will deregistered progressively till Wenya is complete for operation.

It still doesn't add up, If they get in atleast 100 new citaros it might help up with a little, Don't think the AM technicians would want to have their hands on their MAN for now since they they have plenty of buses on their hands.
Once the O4s are gone I see really no reason why WLDEP can't have its OCs and citaros back.

Maybe WLDEP can have all the "DDs" we've been hearing about in replacement for the O405 buses. Massive improvement, I'd say, if that happens.
3013 n 3023 with new livery as well.
they might be launching the new livery together with the "new" DD?
registered so many many limited capacity buses. limited drivers equal inefficient
DD better lah Desmond KUEK. Learn from SBST. you may be old bird in rail, but SBST is an old bird in buses. Buck up and act fast.
New livery:
SMB3013D
SMB3017T
SMB3018R
SMB3019M
SMB3020H
SMB3021E

Nope. Most of WLDEP trunk svcs (75 167 171 178 850E 852 857 858 859* 961 966 971E 980 981) doesn't require bendies in the first place.
169 176 187 854 856 859* 960 962 963 969**
*859 only requires bendies for weekends
**969 for split, occasional full day.
The rest have their own full day starters, only 169 has full rigid fleet on weekends.
Other than the feeders which need bendies for obvious reason, which I didn't state them down.
Can someone clarify if SMRT has purchased a third batch of MANs?
I don't know why the user SBS3107H reflected those MANs with new liveries (1408-1420 and 3100-3105) as a new batch of MANs known as Batch 3 in SgWiki.
