Near 15xx series and might be BSEP batch 3 appear also..
Forsee many O405s will be scrapped earlier
i just love the A22 "eeekkk" chassis sound whenever it comes to a complete stop and also whenever it travels through bumby road surface.

There will indeed be BSEP Batch 3...I have already said many times that the registration of MANs are faster than the rate of O405s scrapping and yet SMRT is doing nothing about it, even worse there are still 100+ Enviro500s coming in...

And the CAC is getting extended in 2015. The OAC still got some left in 2015.
for me; I'm glad to see the O405 lifespan extended as they are still performing well and are really great workhorses. Once fully de-commissioned forever we wont be able to enjoy the rides anymore. And nowadays its getting rather difficult to catch and ride on these buses as compared to the A22s.
Yar.. i actually enjoy riding on the OACs and CACs better than the OCs. MAN still ok but i still like the old workhorses more :)

78 new MAN A22 have been registered and more than 70 over O405 have been deregistered this year.. so basically, the registration of MANs are not faster than the rate of O405s..

Essentially I do agree they are more or less at the same rate if only counting from this July...but if it was to be counted from the day the first MAN is registered back then, SMRT would have at least 100+ more buses compared to the de-registering fleet from 2012-2014. And now with this amount of MANs compared to some of those de-registered fleets, SMRT will still be having 100+ more buses though...

apparently you did not read one of the old press release whereby SBST/SMRT are suppose to increase their fleet by 250...... or else where will all the fleet add by PTO came from?

When SMRT began to increase their fleet from late 2011 till now, are their depots even ready for the intake of so many buses? I will let someone else answer on behalf of me.
LTA should just let SBST runs Bulim and let SMRT take over Bukit Batok Depot,Good enough for 300 buses,Kranji let SBST use as a bus park for 160/170/Premium svc that starts from BBT/CCK/BPJ.
LTA let SMRT take over Ayer Rajah for their CBD svc and built a new bus depot for SBST.
A new bigger bus depot near Amdep and SBST can use the existing SMRT depot for extra bus parking.
Inefficient is created by LTA in the first place. Bt Batok Interchange run by buses in Bulim Depot which is at Jurong West somewhere... when the is a depot at Bt Batok which is less than 5min drive away.

So fast 15xx already, will the O405s get 'killed' earlier?

I guess you counted BSEP.
All the O405 CACs were extended. Since when?

Every 1 to 3 week(s) will have 11 A22 buses waiting for registeration...
