Why were the MAN buses even switching to Voith at the first place? I hope this won't happen to the ADLs too.

I think there is a need to check every single newly registered MAN NL323F bus - whether they are equipped with ZF or Voith... Seems like SMRT (or Gemilang?) are randomly changing the transmission model..

I assume that its just a number to know how many buses are they purchasing. But I guess they will get more or less buses than annonuced..

Is there any MAN NL293F?Meaning power is 290hp,,but still using the 10.5litre engine?

Why you suddenly ask about any downsized engine MAN?
Quite confused as theyre horizontal and vertical type...i didnt know there was even the 280hp/1250nm 10518cc EEV NL engine..

Nope, for Euro 5 only the 10.5L 320hp engine is offered for A22s. However for Euro 4 there is a 270hp variant (NL273F), while for Euro 5 EEV and 6 there is a 280hp variant (NL283F).

Likely those are for european MAN... But ours if got downsize, also good... recently too many reckless BCs, think they playing Grand Theft Auto...

The vertically mounted 6871 cc D 0836 LOH Euro 6 is offered with either the 250 hp or 290 hp output and is only available on the European spec Lion's City. Vertically mounted means that the engine is installed vertically, which allows the 3rd door to be installed.
The 10518 cc D 2066 LUH engine however is horizontally mounted, and the engine is installed horizontally, which means that there is no space for the 3rd door to be installed.
So our A22 is horizontally right? But its got 280hp/1250nm version too

Yeah horizontal. The engine is too large to be mounted vertically. 280 hp version is only available for E5 EEV and E6 version.

That is incorrect.
Regardless of the engine installed, Lion's City can accomodate a 3rd door on the right.
The D0836LOH is only availble in an engine + radiator tower configuration which is similar to the new Citaro C2 Euro 6. MAN markets this chassis type as A37, and this is now shared with the Lion's City Hybrid which uses the same engine with an added electic motor.
The A37 will look like this internally due to the engine tower:
On the other hand, the normal Lion's city with D2066LUH engines are also available with a 3rd door, marketed as A21. This config is less favorable (but widely used) across europe due to a very high platform opposite the 3rd door where the engine is located.
