someone whom ive talked to long before did point out this likelihood, which could be the case as well. The spooling of the radiator fan is more reminiscent of the E4 KUBs where the radiator fan only spools when cooling is required; many A22s on the other hand, have the fan spool as the engine revs pick up.
nt too sure which one is more effective though

SMRT got no choice.. But even if they register them, where can they deploy?

BUDEP, gift to TT~

All will be settled if LTA introduce a long trunk operated by SMRT, which may be quite impossible for the time being.

Hope they will stop the remaining purchase of the A22s and converted the rest to the MAN DDs or Enviros..First of all the fabricate lion head doesnt suit well to the bus,Secondly BCs anyhow accelerate the buses till to the extend of sudden jerking due to its massive torque(1600nm!)..

Lion head is just a waste or resources
the "hair" on the A22s is so excessive, i think some taros, NUBs, E20s or B5s are better.
Just to confuse ppl thinking its the Hybrid version..Just an ordinary Lion City type of bodywork will do..
Originally posted by Bus Stopping:With some modification to extend the rear overhang, B9TL could be made to adapt a 3rd door after the rear axle. That's because the engine and drive shaft goes thru the right side in an L shape. However that means much lesser seats.
Another way is that LTA introduce 12.8m B9TLs and E500s. It won't compromise the number of seats but may increase the seating capacity by another 4, at least.

And stop the remaining purchase of the A24s and get A95s.
The fabricated Lion head of the A22 serves no useful purpose. Wonder why isn't it removed after the Changi Airport accident.

Whatever the hair is for. From upper deck view behind the MAN NL323F the 'hair' is hollow.

all the parking lots in bus interchange/terminal/depots will be affected.... not so easy to say just buy 12.8m or 13m buses...

as if the number of A22s is not enough.

Soon, it won't be the case. By the end of December 2015 these buses are needed to replace those that will go to Tower Transit.

BSEP buses will go over to TT

This is precisely what I have meant. But as of now, only BSEP buses registered before July 2015 are affected and due for transfer, those registered in/after July 2015 should serve as their replacements...shouldn't it be the case?
Anyways 3131 to 3137 are KJDEP, suspecting a new service or this will perm 983
