Suspect some of them go to 904. Some may go to 854/857/851 if they needed them.

but official press releases only stated 400.
Maybe 150 for BSEP, 400 for standard fleet. Or the information given from that page isn't accurate.

u believe what they say? that person say over 550 units of MAN A22 for SINGAPOREAN GOV.... apparently they dun even know the actual figure...
Should stop @ 350 and invest 150 LE single decks and 300 double deckers, Expand woodlands bus park and add depot facilities suchs as fuel pumps/offices/maintenence bays etc, Close down Wldep and Amdep. Should invest a new depot along YCK forest side.Better lose some now rather than later but again cant do much as it's run by goons
SMRT should buy 250 MANdy use BSEP fund~
A special for high demand feeder service such as 804 , 23 , 292 , 901 ....... Singapore really need to push the rear door next to the engine bay and then have one big standing room in the middle of bus tgt with the wheelchair bay , that way idiots who don't want to move in due to quick alighting would be " ENCOURAGED TO "
problem solved ? Simple

There is a problem however, if the bus is quite fully loaded it is quite difficult for the PIWs to board or alight from the front or rear, so this clearly isn't a solution. The best solution is to get 3 door buses like the Volvo 7700/B9L/Scania Citywide/MB Conecto/MAN Lion's City 3 door.
No point 3 doors but can specify the rear door to move a bit rear just like the B10Ms

Disagree...they should go for 3Doors or 2Doors, 1 at the front, another before the 4-seaters[rear]. No point having the door at the middle, Singaporeans aren't going to be moving back
Same thing for bendy and DDs. The number of doors[for bendy] and single stairs[for DD] hardly encourages people to move up[to rear/upper deck] when the bus is full.
SBST should move their doors behind a bit like SMRT close to the rear wheel.
Hope future buses have 3 doors but lesser seats.

The PIW slot can always be relocated...

when it is fully loaded, no matter where the door is , the PIW also cant board. and most PIW will usually try to avoid peak hours.....

Simple? Problem solved? You are a genius!!!.. Maybe should give you a PHD? Why dun you go and design a low floor bus with a stepless rear door at the back and beside the engine bay.......
