Are there already some new ZF Wrights out there already?

I have a feeling the whole new Wright fleet will all have Voith gearbox...
Seems that some of the Wrights are being converted to ZF. I wonder if it is possible to change gearboxes?

It is... Back when the former Scania N113CRBs were in service, there was one point in time when their original gearboxs were replaced with Voith gearboxs. SBS7321D (CDGE) had its original ZF Ecomat II 6HP 602 gearbox replaced by a ZF Ecolife 6 AP 1410 B gearbox, the same one used on the ZF Wrights... But I doubt that they would change the gearbox of the new Wrights.
if no weg register for bsep yet mean only full fleet single decker for 164. that not good. i hope bseo weg also registered this week.

The registration of BSEP for SBST/SMRT is still pending for this month. In worst case scenario, if no WEG is registered, still BNDEP have ample BSEP WEG in its depots to deploy on 164, so don't worry I don't think 164 will be full fleet single decker. It will at least have half the buses as double deckers.
What are they doing by not registering any BSEP Wrights for months? Replacing gearboxes or what?

So many BSEP WEGs spare that they do not know where to deploy... so actually no point registering until they launch some long haul routes. Supposedly, they were going to launch Punggol-Tampines... may be after the route was designed and about to launch might have got feedback, route is not good, so now again re-working.

Some of the Volvo B10TLs have also switched to ZF 4HP590.

Haizz, when will SBS Volvo B9TL deploy on service 39? :/

Chill bro. Why is everyone so uptight about DDs not happening in Yishun yet?
Did everyone here forget that this week is March sch holidays? I don't even see as much much crowds on Sv 39 these few days during Peak compared to the previous week..doesn't make much sense for them to start DDs yet this week.
Then might be next Monday then SBS Volvo B9TL will introduce to service 39.

Logically you are right. Emotionally, I think all people using Yishun services are desperately waiting for some upgrades to DDs. Hence, the anxiety!

Next week is not a holiday week. The morning peak hour will be busy, and 39 will be packed with passengers. If 39 have not upgraded to DDs, it will not make sense since Yishun Temp has open. At least 3 DDs will do. I am not confidene on SBST side but for SMRT to deploy DD on Yishun for next Mon I am confident.

I dunno about SMRT deployment.. u should have insider information..
as for Sv39, the timetable have been revised since last saturday (for normal days) and for school holidays...so if they want to deploy DDs, they would have go ahead already..usually for SBST, the fleet on normal days and school holidays are usually the same (i.e DDs are still being during school holidays, but no of buses will be reduce)..

The thing with Sv 39 is, they have't been tallying their e-tt with the buses they deploy in reality for the past few months. For eg, It's okay if they deploy non-WABs once in awhile on WAB slots because of some issues, but I think there's something wrong when I keep seeing Sv 39 Mk4s persistently on the same WAB slots each for the past 3 months at least, and KUBs instead on the non-WAB slots.
And err, there's supposed to be 3 new round-trips from Tampines added each day to Sv 39 Weekdays schedule WEF next Monday..which I think might be a fleet add because I doubt they can squeeze the runtimes per bus by that much during Peak Hours at the moment. If the fleet add they had in mind was a DD, then I can understand why they haven't deployed any DDs yet..
But in any case, (i'm going slightly OT for this thread), I think the DDs for Sv 39 will happen sooner or later. I'm just not sure if it'll happen yet from next week onwards..
They might have been able to split the pax loads more evenly during Peak with more trips such that if they deploy a DD, the DD might look considerably empty compared to a 3/4 full SD..
I shall wait till next week to see what happens.

I am all agreeable and looking forward to DDs too on Yishun services. In fact, many of the SMRT svcs in Yishun do need the extra capacity to replace / complement the Bendies..
But I'm just not sure if the same applies to Sv 39 at the moment. It'll happen at some point. Just not sure if it'll happen so soon based on what I'm seeing and trying to figure out.. But it's indeed alittle suspicious that CGBP is hoarding quite a number of Wrights at the moment as SP buses..
