Surprised they didn't register any SG buses yet.

Yeah, provided the rumours are true that the SG-plated B9TLs are just sitting in Bulim depot so long never register...
SBS9C -> BN SP
Spotted on facebook, SG5014R in Hougang depot, white-front B9TL with SBS spec interior. Bus still not registered.

So these are the siblings of SBS 3500 E huh? It seems that SG5000E is suppose to be SBS 3501 C if registered.

Registration plate order do not necessarily mean going by chassis number order...this only proves that these are also part of the July 2014 order.
Now that SG-plated Wrights have been registered, although they are also part of the 415 Wrights ordered by SBS Transit and partially funded by LTA in 2014, should the thread be renamed in one way or another?

(BNDEP)
Not registered yet on OneMotoring, but rego plates already up & parked in BNDEP. along with 8x other new Wrights. Just when you thought SBST wouldn't want to reg any more new BSEP Wrights.

I guess SBST may want to abandon the single digit registration already and just simply register using 3500-series until being used up, then find a new one to continue...

Err, I suppose the 35xx series is for BSEP Wrights (owned by LTA) & the single-digit ones so far are for SBST's own Wrights? Those aren't the same thing eh?
Unless you're implying that future BSEP Wrights will be all under the SGxxxx regoes and no more under SBST's own registration.

This one is like the Presidential $1 Coin Program. Once the program is terminated, it might need another congress.

That was why I started the GCM New/Transferred buses thread, to collate SG registrations. Nevertheless, feel free to do as you see fit. I'll leave it to the admins/moderators to decide.

The BSEP Wrights will still be under SBST registration, just that I suppose out of around 300+ Wrights, majority of them will be registered as BSEP buses though I took it as if it is SBST own Wrights since it doesn't matter if it is BSEP or non-BSEP...

There are always two threads for registration of buses, one is about the bus model itself and another is the scheme which the bus falls under. Previously, it is about BSEP and non-BSEP Wrights under the same company. However, it now occurs to me that the Wrights registered under SG regos, though theortically ordered by SBST, belongs to LTA though...that is why I questioned if the thread name can be changed.

Idk if I interpreted your post correctly, but I think fair enough to say, that whichever BSEP buses are registered from now on (or rather, all the BSEP buses so far), are under LTA control uh, regardless of whether they are under SBST or SMRT livery.
So it's not exactly the same to say that BSEP Wrights & non-BSEP Wrights are the same under SBST.
Because while the non-BSEP Wrights are registered under SBST (& hence SBST kind of 'paid' & owns all the ownership of those assets - the non-BSEP Wrights), the BSEP Wrights are under LTA ownership (even though they are under SBST livery). Means that if one day LTA wants to put those BSEP SBST Wrights over to SMRT, it's a possibility.
So it doesn't make sense if SBST has new Wrights that are supposedly bought with their own money, but then they register under the new BSEP regoes (the 35xx series)..
Although I know the last part of my reply would counter-act with what is ongoing now whereby LTA is pulling those Wrights in SBST interior spec & registrating them as SGxxxx regoes.

I think LTA just doesn't want to commit to the SG series. Otherwise they could easily have insisted Citaro use up 65XX then all go SG series, instead they continued to let SBS reg the buses (which is owned by them) as SBS2000 onwards.

this is why i was asking abt the interior spec on the gcm thread.
it would make more sense (as u said) if the new sg wrights had a common/"neutral" interior spec, then its clear they are LTA own etc, but they use back SBS specs, while its easier for them it does confuse ppl

those interior parts have all been order already... so order new one just for the sake of some common /neutral interior spec? and still need to retrofit all the current BSEP buses as well? how much money is needed for all these?
frankly speaking, those passengers who take the buses daily DUN CARE about the interior colours etc.... my wife/my kids all dun bother about the colours of the seats, colour of the poles etc.... they are more concern on buses arriving on time, and space for them to board....

then u can open a new thread about LTA "SG" B9TL... one more thread of LTA "SG" Citaro...and one more for LTA "SG" E500? or A22?

why majority will be registered under BSEP? whereby LTA only bought 1000 BSEP buses?
right now... 300 Citaros + 201 B9 registered = 501 buses.
total BSEP for SMRT = 116+116+ 102 = 334 buses
so left only 165 BSEP buses under SBST... (with some buses already registered under SG plates), SBST will be registering lesser BSEP buses i think... unless, LTA takeover some of the SBST's share of B9TL....

Heh heh heh...Why bother making everything so complicated? If there is alternative ways to save manpower, why choose the option that is even harder?
