Sv 853 had TOO Many Lance 245 yesterday! The extra ones, or rather the exchanged ones are: TIB 918 TIB 919 TIB 937 E
While I was at Orchard yesterday, I spotted it with a Sv 853 Lance 245 on sv 167. it is TIB 925 P -
Recently, I have discovered that VO 2 Axles on Sv 153 have already disappeared in the thin air!!! Some of the buses have alrready gone to Boon Lay, and some have dispatched to Sv 74 and Sv 165. Eventually, Sv 153 takes in some buses of Sv 111 recently, especially SBS 2692R.
I took CSS 201 R (a converted air-con UD) yesterday, and I found that the bus has Volgelsitze Seats (Same as those in MB O.405) That made the ride comfortable, but not to the fullest extent. -
Last Sunday, while I was on a bus, saw another TIBS bus with destination 166 on it.
It was a fleeting glance however. -

Yes, it may be possible. At WLDEP, we found that the driver had to key in 4 numbers, which are normally the same. Each service have a code, and hence, most trunk service have 2 codes, one for each direction.
The first number display the route number
The second would display the route details
The third and the forth are for formatting the display, but are normally automatic, but for some unknown reasons, these 2 last numbers must be keyed in. The extra bold display on service 980 Lance 211s is due to these 2 numbers -
SBS 505 L (from Svc 103) on Svc 73 today
SBS 2692R on Svc 153...never saw this bus on Svc 153 b4.. -

After the service amendments... Service 106 is still using alot of Habit Buses. Service 111 is still using Volvo buses. Services 97 and 502 are now full Leyland Olympian 3 axles fleet. Service 502 has Mercedes too.
Service 81 is full Volvo Olympian 3 axles fleet.
Oddly enough, service 857 is somehow like full Bendy fleet.
2 ex service 106 Habit Buses are spotted on services 169 (TIB 1096) and 980 (TIB 1093).
Service 86's single deckers are all MK4 DM.
Some ex HGDEP buses have been transferred to BNDEP. -

- all 4 VSOs on Service 168 back in full force today, though the schedules back to their sucky days
- 79A has indeed a second a/c rooftop unit installed, apparently branded "Carrier-Sutrak"
- VO 2-axles are no more on Service 35
- miserable loads on Service 81, which I saw only VO Superbuses operating on it

Service 857 runs on an almost full bendy fleet on ALL sundays (not just today). I've lived in Yishun long enough to know how TIBS can tinker your excitement for a while and then bring you crashing down with disappointment the next moment. Evil. -
I live near Yishun too. Me too. The load on 857 certainly does warrant some bendies for quite some time already. And now that 857 is the only TIBS service that runs the full length of Serangoon Road between Sungei Rd and Jalan TPY, more reasons for them to do so.Originally posted by off_service:I live near Yishun too. As you can plainly see, I am quite a disgruntled and dis-satisfied customer of TIBS from Yishun. And I hate TIBS's favouritsm on Woodlands, CCK and BBT. -

Yeah.. Sembawang is the worst. I used to stay there until I was 10 years old. The bus services deteriorated constantly. 160, 161, 164, 167, 169 with 4 services going downtown. Now left only 160 (980) and 167 that are actually services that are useful. The rest are just "token, duplicated and not really useful" services to "hopefully show people that TIBS is taking care of Sembawang". Looks like Sv. 111 is now fully controlled by BBDEP, from the Volvo fleet. The abovementioned Sv. 86 is FULLY controlled by HGDEP, thus not suprising to see DM Mk IV buses. AFAIK SBS 9035S is a BRAM/AMDEP bus, isn't it? Service 168 is controlled by BOTH AMKDEP and BNDEP. Some MK4s are from BNDEP. -
