34D on Sv. 54 is hardly strange as BRAM has more OAC N113CRBs lately. Good for me what, I enjoy Scania power on Sv. 54, which I can take home.Originally posted by Airbus330Captain:So many strange sub buses like 34D on bus 54 . I guess the scania OAC are spreading around .

Okay I get this clear up. TIB741C IS currently an AMKDEP guy. I am able to assert this because this morning today (22 Sep 2003) I personally saw it on service 855 again, on the trip out of Yishun around 8:50am.Originally posted by TIB1186Z:Are u willing to vouch that it does not belong to WLDEP? I can. Cos everytime at 0730 a TIB741C pulls up in front of my school on svc 961.
It was quite a long excursion for a few months.Originally posted by AntiDennisLance:Okay I get this clear up. TIB741C IS currently an AMKDEP guy. I am able to assert this because this morning today (22 Sep 2003) I personally saw it on service 855 again, on the trip out of Yishun around 8:50am.
Could you have mistaken TIB751Z (a WDLDEP guy) for TIB741C? Or mistaken an 855 desto for a 961 desto along Farrer/Queensway/Jln Bt Merah?
Or maybe TIB741C went for a short excursion to WDLDEP then back to AMKDEP.
Heheh, I hope we won't get to catch TITS36DD on roads here anytime soon!Originally posted by Zilchster:It's TIB 364 H
Saw SBS 34D on Svc 54 today..
SBS 2695H on Svc 156 today
SBS 2649S on Svc 105 today
You take Sv. 171 to school nowadays? Zilchster, do you happen to live in Bishan area since you keep sighting special buses on Bishan services or on those passing Bishan?Originally posted by TIB1186Z:It was quite a long excursion for a few months.
My school, FYI, is along Dunearn Rd, and I would be very very pleased if svc 855 plies that route cos now i got 2 direct and fast link back to Yishun, and P ( 0405s ) is higher due to the increased sample space.
I dun think i mistooken 741 for 751......and with the bus desto less than 10m from me, and there is no svc 855 along that route, i doubt my eyes are wrong for such a long period.
I had recently changed my travel schedule these days so i now rarely see svc 961 in the direction towards Geylang, rather i've been seeing a lot of ELBOs on 961 towards Woodlands.
Anyway thanks for the update![]()
No......i normally take the earlier one out of Yishun, but i have went back to taking the 0637 one out of Yishun this week for obvious reasonsOriginally posted by SBS9818A:You take Sv. 171 to school nowadays? Also, TIB 505 T on service 852.Originally posted by TIB1186Z:Today, service 852 and 853 played 'swap-a-bus'......
As a result.......
Pleasantly surprised to find TIB377X departing on the 0637 slot instead of another Lance 211...
And TIB519D on service 852 today from ?? service.
Finally caught sight of SBS40K on svc 39 today......again it appeared on the wrong timing
Someone saw a Lance 211 on NR 6 before...Originally posted by mercedes_hispano:Oh yes, I have another interesting finding to report.
There was a Dennis Lance 245 serving NR1, yes, NR1. Strange, isn't it? I could not catch the rego, but it was definitely an NR1, not a Service 804.
I saw it last Friday night, near 1am while crossing the road to my house. It was just speeding in front of me, towards Sintec City. I didn't manage to catch the LCD display at the front of the Lance, which was a waste, but the acrylic Moon-shaped NR1 signage told me that it was indeed NR1. An Service 804 arrived not more than 2 mins later.
Has TIBS ever deployed a Dennis Lance on any of it's NR routes before? Cause' I've never seen one too.
Oh....so that bus was on svc NR1........it passed by my house with the B245 engine roaring and i did not catch it in time.....almost woke up the estate as well cos there were 2 Habits trailing it...probably back to AMKDEPOriginally posted by mercedes_hispano:Oh yes, I have another interesting finding to report.
