Unlikely. Maybe it was returning to BRAM and the driver decided to drop his colleague off? We never know.Originally posted by xin1jun2:SBS6993 is a refurbed svc 90 Lo2x. er....perhaps its there to say bye to tampiens before it kanna scrapped?

Not only that. Lance 211s are now permanent on many services, including service 969. Also, I noticed that there is changes in routes for drivers. I saw a service 859 driver driving a service 857 bus today.Originally posted by TIB1186Z:After one of frenzied deployment of Lance 245s on TIBS services, I think TIBS is starting to withdraw them or store them in depots. For example, much fewer LAnce 245s are on svc 852 and 855 lately. I also think that Kranji depot is having a bit of reshuffling lately, even got DAFs on svc67. There are also marked occurances of Volgren bodied Hinos on 852 lately, I just took TIB956 back and the engine was quite ambient compared to the screeches of TIB1007 this morning----caused a bit of headache during the next 3h exam, but I think that the suspension is a bit on the "high" side.
It is ironical that they spend money fitting them with EDS, modifying them, etc, only to sell them less than 6 years later. This could be implying that the bus is very problematic and they want to get rid of the entire fleet.Originally posted by off_service:Not only that. But about the Lance 245s.... service 169 is still the dominant service that uses alot of Lance 245s.
That driver most likely has no permanent route, he is just based at WDL and he is assigned a route controlled by the depot every day.Originally posted by off_service:I noticed that deployment of Bendy Buses are not persistent in Woodlands Depot. Also, I've seen alot of new (as new to route) drivers driving service 962.
I also saw a driver, who sometimes is on svc 859, on svc 857.
I think there are many others. For this week, the drivers on svc 806 were assigned different buses from that they had been driving. For example, the bus driver that used to drive TIB1164L for the past 6 months now drive TIB1163 today, TIB1176 yesterday, all of which are 806 Bendys. There are also 3 new drivers on 806 today.Originally posted by SBS9818A:That driver most likely has no permanent route, he is just based at WDL and he is assigned a route controlled by the depot every day.
Do you possibly mean B10M Mk IV Strider-bodied buses were deployed on Sv. 27 as the service cannot have Volvo Olympians due to width restriction at Changi Airport?Originally posted by off_service:Hi forumers.
Leyland Olympian 3 axles are making it's way back to service 74. SBS 9031 C was deployed.
Service 502 is losing some buses. Some Volvo MK4 (WA) and Volvo Olympians were seen on services 27 and 97 (or 147?).
SBS 9650 H of service 97 is now on service 147.
He's referring to VO 3-axles being added to services 97 and/or 147.Originally posted by SBS9818A:Do you possibly mean B10M Mk IV Strider-bodied buses were deployed on Sv. 27 as the service cannot have Volvo Olympians due to width restriction at Changi Airport?
You are right. I meant this.Originally posted by tranquilice:He's referring to VO 3-axles being added to services 97 and/or 147.
Service 27 cannot use double deckers due to height restriction at the airport.
It does seem everyone is mistaken. Changi Airport PTB can accomodate double-deckers HEIGHT-WISE but not manouverabilty-wise as the roads are narrow and ramps are steep.Originally posted by tranquilice:He's referring to VO 3-axles being added to services 97 and/or 147.

Anyway the only airport service worthy of double-decks if it ever happens is Sv. 36, it is so damn packed during peak hours! The bus was parked at Suntec Convention Center bus stop for 5 mins just for passengers to board!Originally posted by TIB1186Z:Terminal 1 basement can accomodate ~4m tall buses, but definitely not Terminal 2 basement with a height restriction of 3.8m, unless SBST wants to replace the top deck every trip as it kanna rip off but the pipes etc.
What? An O405G on Sv. 926? Are the loads even sufficient to support an O405G in the first place?Originally posted by off_service:SBS 9070 Z and SBS 9170 P on service 161.
Habit Bus on service 926.
Lance 245s spotted in Kranji Depot.
It's nicely parked inside KJ Depot when I saw it. It's either the staff changed to EDS or it's really on the service.Originally posted by SBS9818A:What? An O405G on Sv. 926? Are the loads even sufficient to support an O405G in the first place?
OK, then the loads are sufficient. What time did you see it? Surprised that the Sv. 926 bus wasn't from WLDEP.Originally posted by off_service:It's nicely parked inside KJ Depot when I saw it. It's either the staff changed to EDS or it's really on the service.
The last time I saw service 926 the bus was packed to the brim.
If you are saying about the Habit Bus, it's ard 3PM. If you are saying about the loaded O405, it's around 11am in the morning the other time.Originally posted by SBS9818A:OK, then the loads are sufficient. What time did you see it? Surprised that the Sv. 926 bus wasn't from WLDEP.
In addition, service 926 now uses DAF Setanta too.Originally posted by SBS9818A:OK, then the loads are sufficient. What time did you see it? Surprised that the Sv. 926 bus wasn't from WLDEP.
