Service 176 used to have DAF buses before the have the bendy buses. That was around 1996. After bendy bus was deploy in 1997, there are still 1 or 2 DAF buses on Service 176. -

Aren't DAFs in Kranji Depot all along? They have been in CCK and Bt. Batok all along, only more are deployed to 67, 106 recently.

You mean Sv. 969? I took TIB 1192Y on it on Labour Day this year, it was rather sluggish, I wonder why. i took TIB905Y today
i took it on service 307. went the North loop and the teck whye loop.
The bus is very queit. the gear shift is very fast. hits 4th gear in 6 secs. no ZF howl nor ZF catcall. no woo woo sound like other Hino volgrens however engine tends to heat up at the back of bus.
air-con ducts is like those on merc hispano 12m or scania CRL. no characteristic Volgren strip lighting in bus.

SBS 9373R of service 99. After an accident on service 7 years ago(don't know when) this bus was transferred to service 99. However the air-con duct of the lower deck and upper deck has been changed from leather to pink colour(like the 94xx,95xxand96xx series) but the seat cushion was not changed. Thus the interior look a bit different. This is the only VO in singapore to have such interior appearance.

Have the whole seat being changed to the newer ones(like those of the 94xx,95xx and96xx series)? Or just the cushion being changed only.
