Sorry, I made a mistake. Yes, should be service 99 and not 14 (I remembered wrongly as 9156B is a run-around.Originally posted by PT21:
Wha!! service 7 use LO 3 axle. Long time never se LOs on service 7. (9092 must be from BBDep, because HGDep does not have LOs 3 axle)
Anyway, 9156A today is on service 99
The seats have been TOTALLY changed. Interior has been modified. All the furnishings are matt-gray in colour except the floor, which is purple with little sparkly things and the seats.Originally posted by PT21:
So Darryl,
Have the whole seat being changed to the newer ones(like those of the 94xx,95xx and96xx series)? Or just the cushion being changed only.
How miserable is the loads? Less than half the bus is full? In that case it's the main reason why it's "on trial", to show the people who requested for a bus service that it is NOT feasible to have it.Originally posted by Superbus:Actually, all 3 VSOs was on Svc 168 still on Friday. I took 9848M in the morning, 9849K at noon and 9847R in the evening. (This is my personal record)
Also an LO 2-axle (SBS 718-) visited Tampines Interchange on Friday morning.
SBS9131Y operated on Service 196 on Friday, operated on SVc 14 on Monday.
SBS998Y now has the new desto style, like the ones on Tridents.
SBS700P and SBS856H are the only 2 resident-buses of Service 68. Only 1 operates either in the AM-peak or PM-peak. Average round trip at Industrial Estate is 10 minutes. Passenger load is quite miserable. Ironic as at least 3 banners welcoming the commencement of the service have been put up all over Tampines St 91.
Cheers and warm regards
Everytime I saw Service 68, no more than 5 pax is in the bus. The bus-stop markings are only a single pole with a cemented base, to show that it will be removed from September onwards.Originally posted by SBS9818A:How miserable is the loads? No lah, it is common, as long as these services are controlled by Kranji you can expect to see Hinos, DAFs, etc!Originally posted by SBS9816E:A bit of updates:
SBS 3758D on Sv 105, instead of the usual Sv 135
TIB 951 on Sv 190
Hmm... Hino HS3KRKA on Sv 190 seems to be a kinda rare, huh?
Yes, to show those people who demand a bus service inside the Industrial park that it is not feasible! Same for Sv. 401 on Saturdays. The bus was empty save for 4 of us when I took it with the others.Originally posted by Superbus:Everytime I saw Service 68, no more than 5 pax is in the bus. I agree with you. I think service 401 will be back toOriginally posted by SBS9818A:Same for Sv. 401 on Saturdays. The bus was empty save for 4 of us when I took it with the others.
I believe Orchard Rd sector will be kept but Sv. 401 goes back to being a Sunday service.Originally posted by tranquilice:I agree with you. I think service 401 will be back toBedok - Lor 1 Geylang from September.
Hi TropicalSQ744. Welcome onboard.Originally posted by TropicalSQ744:Hi all!
Just spotted TIB 975U (2nd gen hispano 0405G) on 806 on my way back from school... Before tat was a 0405
My guess is tat it was a filler bus becos they deployed a 0405 before it and the bus was packed full with many people not being able to board. And another Habit 0405G was following right after this one.. Anyway it's definately a change on 806 considering it always used Habits
BTW, im new here.. Decided to join after i spotted 975U today
WHAT? Sv. 55 operated VSOs yesterday(Monday)? Today's scheduling :Originally posted by Zilchster:Today Svc 55 had SBS 9812 or is it 9822...
SBS 9888 broke down along Lorong Chuan at around 9.20pm plus near the cardiff court bus stop
Can't be 9812R cause I saw that bus on 21 .Originally posted by Zilchster:Today Svc 55 had SBS 9812 or is it 9822...

Hey offservice,Originally posted by off_service:Hi TropicalSQ744. Welcome onboard.
This is definitely the first time a Citaro (O405 2nd edition) is on service 806, at least to me. The O405 you saw should be a supplementary bus. I guess this is a measure by Tibs to release Bendy Buses for other services (Someone saw O405G on service 857 today). In my opinion, O405 is deployed because there's always few passengers left after the Bendy Bus left and therefore it's a waste to use Bendy Buses as the load is low as the next bus often come below 3 to 5 minutes frequency.
Welcome to Singapore Buses forum again. Interesting to know you decided to join after seeing TIB 975 U.![]()
Seems that both bus companies are having "bad bus days" lately. I've seen quite a number of buses breaking down lately.Originally posted by TropicalSQ744:Hey offservice,
Thanks for the welcome! When I saw 0405 serving 806 at the berth, i thought its good for a change but they should have used a Volgern 0405G considering there were so many passengers who could not board!
Then after the 0405 left, 975U came out and I thought it was on 856 / 859 but as I could see the EDS i was shocked
I was like oh man this is definately new.. hehe.. But im still waiting for a Volgern 0405G on 806!
