wonder which bus will take over SBS2613U for Sv761 when it de-regs next week given that AMDEP has run out of B10Ms to deploy. can a citaro handle the pax demand for that trip (35 or less) or would it get a DD replacement instead? the same applies to SBS2611A for Sv564 as well.
Thanks
1 crossover trip of Premium 761 (previously done by SBS2613U) had been upgraded to a double-deck slot.
15 Apr: SBS9615T
16 Apr: SBS9841G
1 additional trip was made for Premium 564 after the complaints ytd. Unsure if the additional trip will be a permanent arrangement.

regular bus spotters can already anticipate the problem before the bus de-regs and SBST chose to take chance and deploy KUB on day 1 for 564. i wonder how much truth is in them saying the plan was to deploy a citaro but due to unforseen circumstances a KUB was used. even a citaro wont be able to take all the pax. they totally deserved the whacking. the least they could do if they didnt want to add trip or upgrade is to transfer some B10Ms from HG for a stop gap solution. very disappointed in the lapse.

Play bunk. This is common sense thing. Kub n citaro lesser seat than volvo b10. Not rocket science, sounds familiar?

Prior to 2611 n predecessors, 564 was using KUB for quite a while

Thanks for the info there. Nevertheless, that must have been at least a year ago or more, so I guess it is safe to conclude that KUB cannot handle the load now. Even SBST acknowledge that average load is 35 (i'm doubtful of this figure too). All in all, this situation could have been better managed. Cheers.

Ridership of 35 mentioned by SBST is an arbitary figure...
Deploying 2 564's maybe a temporary stop gap measure and we are have to wait and see...
SBST on the other hand have few options:
1. Maintain new deployment of 2 564's
2. Swop 549's DM to 564, chg 549 to Scania,Citaro
3. Take from East District(Bedok) - very troublesome
4. Convert AM training DM to revenue bus
5. Cut to one 564, upgrade to DD service
Assuming a DM for 564, it is a short term measure and prob arises when DM retires...

I disagree with option 2 and 3. Option 4 may work only if the load remains at 46. They got SBS2790M and SBS2819T to play with. Option 5 would be ideal as when commuters sees a Double Deck on 564, more people might switch to taking 564 instead, but it poses a great problem if they hand over to private operators in future.

Yes, so have to b v v alert...
BCs tend to switch off EDS before arriving at Fullerton Hotel bus stop, 6765 on day one EDS did not display PREMIUM 564
If i recall n also posted in much earlier pages(Part I thread), there was a LO3X deployed before on 564

Yup when 564 was under SLBP, SBS8113D and SBS8485H all from SLBP 157 were perm on 157/564 until SBS2770Z took over.
Any updates on Premium 564 lately?
