so the KUB have to undergo JB-reg and the brake lights.
hope to see one B10BLE (at least that diesel powered one) as part of either 160 or 170 fleet
eh hello.
Firstly, CNG B10BLE how many buses compared to the entire fleet of MK IVs that are sent for 170 160 JB service? Not even enough buses much less talk about deploying them. Then somebody mention earlier about not deploying the newer DM3500 replace old DM3500, instead put all KUBs instead. Same reason. B10BLE go off earlier than KUB.
Why will refuel at JB given that SBST's only reason to be there is Larkin/Kotaraya? They refuel at Jurong Island only. Think lah.
1688K and the B10BLEs are going to stay in Singapore. So all standardise KUB.
That's why sometimes overboard and out of topic..don't know learn and don't act too smart..there's always a smarter people elsewhere

KUBs are fine.
Did I mention use Citaro or not?I only set SMRT 950 wab using low floor buses some more which why can't use all KUBs instead?

No I'm not talking about spammers but user SMB145 statement instead.

Feels more like both parties now that you mention it...
No but for goodwill sake I advice only to 145B..others I don't really care cause everyone got their own reasons
Looks like the spammer begin to post right things...but probably once in a while.

Note: Some of the listed buses also have the information (black), LPKP permit and speed limit stickers.

Got 8257 and 8443 also.
What are those JB registered buses doing in HGDEP? Don't tell me SBST want to give some 170 duties to HGDEP.

they are waiting to be transferred over to BBDEP.. but since sv170 still does not need it yet, so they are staying at HGDEP now until the time come... and even though these buses have the sticker/3rd brake light, they are NOT JB registered YET...

wat is your logic? sv950 use O405 also packed to the brim.... the matter is the frequency of buses that SMRT have deployed on sv950..... as for what buses being used for Sv160/170, it does not matter, the buses were still be packed during peak hours..

You said out exactly my thoughts. Like 8212D, has all the JB info box, speed limit & hotline stixs, and the 3rd brake light, but still in HGDEP. But paperwork-wise they aren't reg-ed for JB svcs yet.

Then why SLBP and AMDEP transferred some of its K230UB to BBDEP when 170 still does not need it yet? They can put the JB info box, speed limit & hotline stixs, and the 3rd brake light at their depot respectively and can also stay put at their depot respectively andcontinue running on its perm service.
My guess is that BNDEP/CGBP K230UBs will be next to have the JB info box, speed limit & hotline stixs, and the 3rd brake light soon and will be transferred to BBDEP in the future?
SBS2813J (JB-registered) spotted on sv103

because initially they only need 30 KUBs and therefore it is easier for them to do everything in BBDEP. and BBDEP have batch 2/3 KUB to transfer over as 1 to 1 replacement.. . right now if they need additional 50 kub, are BBDEP going to transfer 50 MK4 over to HGDEP immediately to replace the outgoing kUB? then the HG side ppl will then complain that not enough buses to fulfil WAB quota. so HGDEP will just prepared the buses first until more Citaros came in before sending the KUB over (BBDEP does not have much batch 2/3 KUB left and the few there still have ads)..
