This bus was involved in an unreported case of smoke emission from bus engine in early April while on 852. Most probably investigations determined that the engine is overheated and thus the bus is unsafe from service, further more all SMRT Striders are to be sent for scrap by end 2014, hence the lay up.

Think Sv 124 went from AMDEP-control to BRBP-control already recently?
I think from the past few days, i've noticed people spotted BRBP buses doing Sv 124 lately.
16 May - 5135M (BR SP).
19 May - 8861E (BR 145).
And today (20 May), personally i spot 5033Z (BR 145), 5187M & 8515E (both BR SP) on Sv 124 as well~
Can anyone confirm this change of control? Because, it's not like AMDEP is that short of SP SDs to go around that they have to kope BRBP's ...

Would have preferred if 7569 did 17 instead of 17A... Kubs and b10s can manage the load on 17A very well.
