Good morning. Here's the layout of Joo Koon Bus Interchange bus bay. As you can see, traffic flows clockwise, and there are 18 parking lots.

Lucky JK svc a lot of split shift and park at depot.
almost one year already. :)
258 getting well-received by factory workers living in Jurong West.
99 also. :)
182, 253-257 no need say. all very good. :)
except 256, still very disappointing. poor loading, but quite hard to withdraw, cuz bo alternative. :(
one year on, how do you find Joo Koon Bus Interchange?
not bad hor? can impress the bangla and PRC who come singapore work. :)
after all, they contribute to our economy. give them a nice bus interchange to use also considered our way of thanking them. :)
(reviving this thread one last time... thereafter, I'm gonna let it expire...)

Happy 1st Birthday, Joo Koon Bus Interchange!
(reviving this thread one last time... thereafter, I'm gonna let it expire...)
256 v disappointing and hard to withdraw but can be merged with 258 as proposed, where 258 does not ply Upper Jurong Road. Loading will be better. 258 can operate with 8 DDs, saving 3 buses and operational costs of another service.
Other alternative is 194 can be extended to terminate at Joo Koon just extending along AYE for another 3 bus stops instead of looping at Pioneer Circus. 194 operates with 4 buses today, can operate with 6 SDs.
Incidentally, I took sv 258 today. Good loading. Will post in "loading thread".
Joo Koon Interchange got Singtel WiFi; free wifi for SingTel customers. :)
Saw 192 and 193 flyer at Joo Koon Interchange. Dunno whether coincidental or an indication that next time 192 and 193 will come here. Maybe 182 will go Tuas and either 192 or 193 or both will shorten to here, while 256 re-route or something like that.
I foresee a bus rationalisation happening when Tuas MRT opens. But I dun think this thread would open until Q2 next year to discuss about it. Also not wise to keep on sustaining it.
This thread is already the longest running thread in Singapore bus forum.
Even longer than the Taiwan dramas.
Good job guys.
It has been a good game. :)

Just a few more points for now,
- Joo Koon Int got OCBC and UOB ATM. POSB ATM is at the Warehouse Club supermarket upstairs. Joo Koon MRT also got. :)
- The loading here very periodic. Busy time very busy. Other times very relax. But people only come Fairprice hub for the food. Other trades, like that spectacle shop, rarely have business.
Love your persistence to keep this thread live
Sadly, I dun think this thread can last any longer.
Its sad to see it expire, or even be deleted.
but we have to move on.
I would like to end this with a wish for Joo Koon Bus Interchange.
Wish: Hopefully, Joo Koon Bus Interchange is not short-lived. Even with Tuas MRT next year and Cross Island Line eventually, I hope that Joo Koon Bus Interchange would continue to have a place in the public transport network here. Otherwise, at least let the assets fully depreciate before closing it. With so much invested on Joo Koon Bus Interchange, it would be a waste if this is short-lived.
Long live Joo Koon Bus Interchange!

Don't worry and get emotional for no reason.
Joo Koon interchange is here to stay even if Tuas comes up. Cheers.

Actually only our dear Gekpoh boy is obsessed about it lol.
But then one thing special is as compared to other interchanges Joo Koon Int is lacking direct services to the other parts of the island as except for 99 the remaining services are plying within Jurong West Extension/Jurong Industrial Area/Tuas only.

Joo Koon MRT is quite happy. As a terminus until 2017 and for life, many commuters will even get a seat.

I think I know what you mean...
but,
172 got a lot of people take from Boon Lay Interchange.
Its gonna affect a lot of people if we extend it to Joo Koon.
Likewise for 180 and 187.
If want, can consider 178, but the route already very long.
Alternatively, we can consider 502, 185, or the rumoured "500" to use Joo Koon Interchange.
