Simple solution is to amend 252, possibly via Kian Teck also

sorry what do u mean? Do u mean how the deleted sectors shld be replaced?
My suggestions for possible extension to Joo Koon for 185 and 502
For Svc 185:
(Normal route from Buona Vista)
Pioneer Rd North
International Rd
Joo Koon Circle
Joo Koon Int
For Svc 502:
(Normal Route from City)
Pioneer Rd North
Upper Jurong Rd, Benoi Rd (express)
Joo Koon Circle
Joo Koon Int
To cover for deleted sectors to Soon Lee Rd, Svc 252 can also be amended via:
(Normal Route from Joo Koon Circle)
International Rd
Kian Teck Ave
Kian Teck Way
Soon Lee Drive
Soon Lee Rd
(Normal Route to Boon Lay)

As some of you guys mentioned eariler, 254 can loop at Joo Koon while starting from Tuas. Possibly as part of Tuas West MRT rationalisation.
Loading analysis on bus service 254.
Date: 25 January 2017, Wednesday.
Time: 5:33pm to 6:34pm.
Bus No.: SG5369S
Until 9km, there were only +/- 5 passengers on the bus.
The number of passengers started to increase from 9km; Tuas Crescent.
Most people board the bus at +/- 11km and 13km; Tuas Avenue 11 and Pioneer Road.
Highest loading: 52; Lowest loading: 2; Average loading: 16.8
Conclusion: Not advisable to skip Tuas Crescent onwards; don't extend 254 to Tuas. If want to improve the service, can skip the loop at Tuas Road, and let another service cover that section.

bus stops have already been built on opp side of Tuas Cres. If 254 is extended to Tuas, pax can board the bus on the other side towards Joo Koon.

Okay, the loop can be removed, but, there must be bus service at Tuas Avenue 11, which Pioneer Road cannot replace...

Actually, considering most of the loading is at Tuas Avenue 11, Tuas Basin Link and Pioneer Road, and the difficulty of finding a route that loops at Tuas Avenue 11 (which does not require bi-directional bus coverage) and connect to the Tuas West MRT stations without the passengers incurring additional travel distance, it's best that route 254 remains intact.
The new bus stops at Tuas Crescent can be for another bus service to ply Tuas Crescent in both directions (or loop in that other direction), to serve the southern part of Tuas, and connect to the Gul Circle MRT station at Tuas Road (or Tuas Crescent MRT station at Pioneer Road).

I hope in future 254 can start from Tuas and loop around JK Rd instead to create space
for 185 & 502 start from JK.
The strategy is to use the Tuas West MRT stations to shorten the bus routes at Tuas, to Tuas.
Bus services 192, 193 and 182 can have their route amended, to connect to Gul Circle, Tuas Crescent and Tuas West Road stations respectively, and loop at the vincinity (192: Joo Koon, via Upper Jurong Road; 193: Tuas Avenue 5, via Tuas Road; 182: shorten to Tuas, let 256 cover the skipped sector at Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim).
This would create 2 vacancies at Boon Lay.
As we all know, the Tuas West MRT Line uses a different signalling system than the existing East West Line. There's a possibility that Joo Koon MRT station would become a temporary "Interchange" for one year, where the main line and extension line intersect. The platform should be able to accommodate all the people transferring trains, as not many people would use the new line anyway.

sry for the late reply, ya
There's a rumour at SG trains forum that the Tuas West MRT line will open on 25 March 2017.
Also, all trains will run to Tuas Link station.
"Service 193 will be launched as a wheelchair-accessible bus service on Monday, 13 February 2017."

Hello. It is BCM, implemented on the first phase.
But anyway, thanks because of retirement of Volvo Olympian 3-Axle (Batch 3).
The reason why I post this here is because 193 is a Tuas service, and Joo Koon Bus Interchange serves the Tuas region to some extent. When I created this thread in 2013, I saw the potential of extending this thread until Tuas MRT opens; the potential is huge.
Well, it looks like 193 is here to stay, that's why they (finally) made it wheelchair accessible. The route at Tuas connects well to Tuas West Road and Gul Circle stations.
I foresee a major change to bus route 192.
I foresee an optimisation of factory buses at Jurong West residential town. Personally feel that the resources can be re-organised to provide better connection...
If it's true that the Tuas West MRT stations will open on 25 March, we should hear the announcement by 25 February, or when the Tuas road viaduct opens next week.

Dont be too hopeful. Be prepared to face similar situation like the Compassvale Int. Built there to grow dust first before pax can use it.

You mean, the new bus terminal at Tuas ah?
Regarding Compassvale, I have a feeling something happened, that's why they are not able to proceed with the implementation as planned.
Hopefully, Tuas won't have such complications.
Anyway, even if have, there's a bus terminal next to it, which can anytime accommodate around four more bus services. Operations can be carried out there, before the new one opens.

They already delay once. Don't think they would delay again, as this would affect their credibility.
