Yeah bro better not him,we need someone like the late Wee Kim Wee or ex PM GCT..at least. We don't need a barbaric PM for our future generation
Maybe LTK will take over after GE2016? Lol.
Cheers.
Why do people believe that changing the ruling party will change the dynamics of our policies?
The power isnt solely in there you know. In fact it is well-divested by all the stat boards and ministries we have. And they dont necessarily sing the same tunes!
Anybody who has worked with govt agencies will know what I mean.

Yup I agree.
I also suggest we remove your house to build the extra road to accomodate your new car.

i don't want a PM to spam "what do you think" into my ears.
no to DDs until SMRT is fixed.
excuse me, who is this joker that thinks our buses cause more pollution than cars?

In my opinion, I feel that SMRT should invest in Double Decker buses. This should help trigger the services to improve.
just like governments introducing stimulus packages to boost employment and spending.
by the way, which is cheaper: Double Decker or Articulated?
It seems to me that Double Decker is cheaper. so if SMRT buys DD instead of Articulated, it should help save some money. and the money saved can be used to improve its services.
just wondering. could LTA make a one-time investment, by engaging foreign bus companies/organisations, and sending people working in SMRT and SBS Transit to overseas for training? similar to back then when people working in MRTC were sent to Japan for overseas training, before MRT services started.
Personally, although better than SMRT, I feel that SBS Transit's bus services can still be improved.
It would be good if both operators can be sent for training by overseas PTOs, so that the quality of Public Transport here can be on par with cities similar to us, such as London.
Maybe it is because SBST is under Comfort Delgro (an international company), that is why its services are maintained at "international standards", unlike SMRT which does not have any foreign influence. Nonetheless, I do not think SBS Transit's services are perfect yet.
So, LTA should send both operators for overseas training/upgrading. Except, perhaps SMRT should get more training/upgrading because it does not have any international company above it to maintain its services at "international standards".

they kind of screwed up the bendies, and you want SMRT to have DDs (and let them to screw the new DDs)?

- For instance, the drivers should make the effort to do some dry-cleaning of the bus after it drops off passengers at bus interchanges/terminals/depots, so that when the bus enters services again, passengers would not get a dirty bus.

at least we don't see crap in the MRTC, like we see in SMRT when it is under SPH and under this 3-star general ...

So what do you suggest we do? Just have rigids... No high capacity buses?

the current batch of bendies to retained for now.
until SMRT improves its maintainance
TIBS had maintained the buses well. even the bendies.
now, how many taros stucked inside AMDEP?
138Y still under layup

but at the same time, i do not want a that many issue appearing on the new buses.

So no more higher capacity buses for SMRT... So people in SMRT areas should continue to suffer? I don't get the logic.
