from what i heard from a few BCs, alot of the DDs will go to 190 and 700. 172 and 188 will get the bendies from 190.. thats for KJ. the rest im not sure...

I believe all needs DD except for the feeders. I strongly believe feeders use bendy better.
U can consider 184 and 700,
184 @ Clementi very crowded twds Ngee Ann Poly at 8am onwards
700 also crowded @ Pending LRT
966 can have split shift DDs to replace all those 'crawling' rigids and adjust the frequency
965 also the same as 966

Agreed. 184 better with Bendies due to high alighting/boarding at Clementi. 965 no need dd according to me, if 969 gets all dd from WDL side. 965 loading before entering TPE from Punggol rd 30-35 pax am peak and 60-65 pax PM peak.
966 could definitely use some DDs towards marine parade in Am and vice versa. 963 should also use DDs - 14 DDs would be good. 700 - 4 peak hour DDs should be enough.

966 current split slots is too much. They should reduce the slots or convert the current split slots to DDs. 966 maybe need 2-3 DDs for split, AP dont need. 700 off peak definitely dont need DD.
From what i observe about svc going to and from CBD, They deserve DD/Bendies during peak hours only, off peak doesnt warrant DD, I see 190 bendies is fully seated and most of the time no standees but the freq for off peak is like peak hour.
969 DD for peak hour, 960,963 also. 964 bendies better due to the short route
902 bendies+rigid is the best.
Basically i see that the DD should be on split slot of peak hours. Off peak crowd rigid can handle
If we just look at Cbd services, then this would be the first deployment.
Spare - 21 (remaining: 180)
190 - 34 (146)
700 - 04 (142)
851 - 11 (131)
106 - 14 (117)
980 - 02 (114)
167 - 02 (112)
972 - 06 (106)
75 - 02 (104)
61 - 02 (102)
77 - no need
67, 960 - will use Bendies
850E - 02 (100)
there will still be 100 DDs pending after deployment of DDs to Cbd related services!!
Missed out on 857 needing 8 DDs, remaining 92 DDs for non-Cbd services.

857 need to replace the full day rigids with DDs. At night the crowd is quite high from 8pm onwards at times to the door.
Allocation of 92 DDs.
969 - 13 (79)
854 - 19 (60)
169 - 18 (42)
963 - 14 (28)
188 - 16 (12)
966 - 4 (8)
985 - 4 (4)
855 - 2 (2)
860 - 2 (0)
** need an order of 100 DDs more to satisfy services 172 (12), 180 (12), 187 (12), 189 (9), 856 (16).

169 18 DD like too much, there a reason why there only 2 full day bendies amongst the whole fleet. Peak hour it needs at least 10, off peak at most u need is 5.

Current number of Bendies cannot manage the load. Peak hours you have bi-directional loading. 169 definitely needs more high capacity buses than what it has today. After 2pm, you also have heavy loads from RP to WDL interchange, Yishun college to Yishun MRT.

From RP to WRI it is inevitable, i see many people walking to WRI as much as i see people taking 169/903/902 all the bendies or rigids after 3.30pm to 6.30pm and 7.30am to 9.30am are always packed to the door but after RP stop, the load drops a lot. Then will pick up again few bus stops later until Yishun.
Bus from AMK will get crowded at Yishun MRT to Senoko then the load will be low till WRI.
Its either 169 get more bendies or get DD+Bendy. But if load from RP to WRI, bendy would be feasible since the trip takes like < 3 mins

169 should get fleet add also..The frequency on certain days damn jialat. Waited for nearly 40mins and yet I couldn't board 1 169 bus.

I think 'H' stands for Hybrid.
This is the Hybrid version of ADL Enviro500.
Unlike the other versions of ADL Enviro500, the Hybrid version has a rather distinct black bar in front.

Problem with 169 is that it does not have as many high capacity buses as it deserves. Hence, I am proposing 18 DDs... Significant upgrade that will take care of loading. Loading very high in many sectors...
AMK to WDL (am peak)
AMK - upper thomson
yishun ave 3 - yishun mrt
yishun mrt - seneko
WDL to AMK (am peak)
wdl - seneko
admiralty west - yishun
yishun mrt - upper Thomson rd
all these sectors have 70+ loading.. Means need dd or bendy and loading is bidirectional.

Bro, OT a bit,hw u noe abt crawling 966 rigids?
H is hybrid correct,it remains to be seen if local PTOs are far sighted enough to bring in n b part of fleet renewal, common in japan,china,eur,us,moscow...

Not really. The black bar (or bumper) is actually US spec to fit in with the local regulations. Here is a US spec Enviro 500 that is owned by a Canadian operator:

Thanks Bro...
sv169 is a classic service that is cruely ignored... Bendys will do the job
966 > dun need so many DDs, already spam with Rigids, it is actually the speed the SL drive that is causing much angst...
There are other svcs much in need of DDs,
854 will stay with Bendys/Rigid fleet
855 need to improve freq
Someone spotted a SMRT ADL Enviro 500 in Scotland and post on SMRT facebook page... (Special thank to Mr. Gary Clark for the photo)
