AM peak heavy loading from Marine Parade as well.
For both sides, there is significant loading. Observed this multiple times.
If you observe closely, the KUBs on 48 aren't even filled during peak. The back has neary zero standees.

Don't think that's a fair statement, there is significant loading from Marine Parade to Little India MRT during AM Peak and the opposite during PM Peak, The demand is also mid to high for those xfering to and from Tanah Merah MRT daily during Peak Hours.
Don't think 48 will be considered for DDs not only because of the high trees but also the climb to Benjamin Sheares Bridge?
Cheers

Yea, it's more steep compared to the Keppel Road entrance although i aint sure if that's a deal breaker for 48.

sv48 freq has improved a lot weekday morning peak from 0730 onwards twds BNV, buses if no traffic arrives ev 6 mins...
Ah, DDs can climb the slope, if HK DDs can climb the steep flyover connecting to Ap Lei Chau, it shldnt be a problem

You echoed exactly my observation on the loading. Regarding use of DDs, the high trees point is valid... climbing bridge should not be a problem.

Yes as DDs cannot be used, they have been adding buses over the past 2 years just like they are doing to sv 36 and sv 39 but if DDs come, you dont need so many buses.

Bro ask ah, old sv8(CBD to Bedok express svc)used DD climb up BJB before leh...
36 i understand due to height at CGA, 39 not sure but other than tt, no logic to not deploy DDs...
Even 43 has DDs to cope with demand...
sv48 non peak is really manageable... morning peak too as i am at the Mountbatten Rd(one amber bus stop)

It is not advisable to post any pictures(if anyone has it) as it violates a lot of rules/regulations and may get the person who took the picture into trouble...

Yes, but I cannot post it (or rather share it from the source as the source obtained the image illegally). But the source is not local.
Patience...
There are enough Enviro500 MMC buses to go around.
maybe go to woodlands HQ depot to camp there

39 for sure gets DDs once Yishun interchange gets moved. But when is yishun interchange moving to new location. Press release came around a year back announcing the move for a new integrated interchange.
