Thus, I would rather suggest to have it go by Braddell Road, which has low traffic except for the junction with the CTE...
Yes, would be great since no bus to date has ever utilised the KPE tunnel.

Got 104 in route suggestions thread. Better if go by Braddell Road or Macpherson to PIE?

Braddell Rd. Should keep stops to a minimum.

Maybe a direct svc from northeast to west will be good.
Preferable JE.
I mean, haven't you noticed the growth of JE now? MRT is simply insufficient. Two transfers! So many stops! And the Circle Line is notorious for crawling speeds (understandable due to numerous turns).
If the CBD can be served with express svcs and direct MRT connections, why can't JE? It's already becoming the second CBD of the entire nation. With the current transport connection it has it puts shame and unfairness to many parts of Singapore!
Hope the CRL will resolve this issue, and hope its express services will be confirmed and operational during weekends as well along with peak hours. Otherwise an express svc like this should be introduced as a stop-gap.

That's the least of problems.. 107 can be made WAB.

Hi mr SBS3004X, I am really not too sure. Cheers.

sv84 at its present freq n ridership needs only 1 bus PERIOD

Sooner or later, all svcs would be WAB...
As citaros/WEG IIs are on both svcs, it's a matter of time
Sv 99 gets one more BSEP WEG? Really?
Last time sv 99 got BSEP add, SBST downgraded one of its DD to SD slot.
Why does BBDEP not give it to other service instead? Sv 7, 14 have not received even one.
Same services keep getting BSEP WEGs
191 should be under BSEP - only BSEP Citaros operate - no bus from SBST side.

It will be very long until majority SMRT routes become WAB though.

DD downgrade to SD? 8592G was the replacement of 2745Y sometime ago few users mentioned earlier. There is no downgrade from DD at all. There is still a missing bus for 99 and probably 3741B is in to replace it.
Sv 7 did receive a normal DD upgrade when 8592/8590L left to perm 99 and the bus is 7777Y isnt it?
Reason being why if sbs downgraded DD to SD is because they rescheduled the slots with the SD operating after the pm peak hr starting from the opposite direction where there is a lesser crowd

7626 replacement bus seems to be a 37xx spare weg2. 8592 replaces 2745. :)

SBS 7777Y is a replacement for SBS6244 if I am not wrong
I wonder if Singapore is open to the idea of two operators having joint control of one route, like the Circle Route in Perth (Transdev Fremantle/Swan Transit Canning/Path Transit Morley) or 950 (Path Transit Morley/Swan Transit Claremont).
Route 61 could be the perfect candidate for such an experiment, with KJDEP (SMB) and BNDEP (SBS) supplying buses. It would be good to see both VO3Xes and Merc O405Gs working together on the same route.
