Also there were plans to extend Admiralty Rd E to Seletar area. All the same, I had the impression that the Simpang region would comprise of Sembawang N1 & 2.
Those plans are still there but I believe Simpang is for 2022+

Finally something is done to ease 63's load and cope with the horrible waiting time for 63. Becoming a full day service like 143M. Probably gonna use 4-5 buses. I suppose some of the Split shifts doing 63M now would become full day buses on 63.
From Eunos to Circuit rd HDBs, only service providing direct connectivity. Same from Pipit to Eunos. Good call.

Agreed. But Singapore tree coverage has increased over last decade. I don't know how Govt manages to do that. At least statistics wise, it is one of the best in the world.

Whether will the buildings will cause Sinkapore we don't know...
But what I do know is more and more kite flying territories are being conquered by these concrete towers...
Just look at Anchorvale.

How could I believe your statement if you won't answer my qns? Shinjuku to Ikebukuro, fastest travelling time only.

Go read my post again.. I mentioned to you what would be the best way to go, and the traveling time as well. Please read posts correctly or be more specific.

Hmmm...
If I were you I would've taken the Saikyo Line/Shonan-Shinjuku Line instead... takes 5-6 mins travelling time only. As mentioned before I only consider travelling time. It's also based on the primary principle of less stops is usually equal to faster travelling time.

All for fleet add... or are there new bus services planned for this quarter?

Depends which pass you have.. Normally if you live in Tokyo city, you would have the MRT pass and not JR line pass unless you frequent Yamanote line.

I did mention travelling time only didn't I? :P
Sometimes when I have to rush to Shinjuku or Shibuya from Ikebukuro (as in really really rush) I will buy single trip and take the JR.
Especially Shinjuku. It does take 5-10 mins to walk to Shunjuku-Sanchome. Besides the entrance to the walkway is so hidden.
Haha. Sbs 84 frequency is improved to 9-10 min from 20-25 min.. Just reported by channelnewsasia. Haha. So happy.
Haha. Channelnewsasia also reported 3 new bus services will be coming to jurong east, hougang and Punggol in July to sep 2014. Hip hip hooray!

Now that explains why so many new buses have been registered. But are these feeder/trunk services or city direct services?
Service 43 is getting 20+ minutes frequency off-peak nowadays, more than the usual 15-20 minutes frequency. What 'BullSh** Enhancement Programme' is this?

Hi mr BusAnalyser, from the way that I see, should be feeder/trunk services. City direct services are all launched already and they will be outsourced again should another wave of city direct bus services is required.
I make a guess. Hougang new service for either hougang at 91/92 or new flats near upper serangoon road. Punggol new service is for flats nearby sentul crescent and Punggol walk. Jurong east I not too sure! All 3 may be trunk services enroute to other estates. Cheers.

Jurong East? I think you have mis-read the part that mentioned the new bus service 143M.
There will be 2 new bus services - not 3 - at Hougang and Punggol.
By September 2014, another two new routes in Hougang and Punggol will be introduced. Details of these new routes are currently being worked out.

Ppl in Bt Panjang or those taking Sv190 will not give a thumb up for LTY/LTA for having 361 buses on the road. Morning peak hours still cannot make it. They will prob give LTY a middle finger.

I am sorry to say this, but I think your comment is quite offensive to LTA and the forum, especially with the B word in it...

Hi mr jurongwestresident, thanks for explanation but I am not wrong. When channelnewsasia first reported, they mentioned 3 bus services by 3rd quarter 2014. After that, they re-edited and said 2 because the 3rd one has already been implemented in the form of sbs 143M. I got the news initially from channelnewsasia and not LTA website. Cheers.

The Punggol service is surely going to serve the Nibong and Sumang LRT Stations...
