U mean B word means "Bastard"? I know the meaning, is where the male reproduces with the female. The other words are not affected.

The situation should improve with the E500s soon.
Punggol service announced by LTA should be for Edgefield Plains end HDBs that open for possession now. There is no LRT or bus service here.
Proposed route: sv 380
Punggol Interchange
Punggol Central (opp blk 293, Punggol Secondary School)
Edgefield Plains (Blk 614B, future stop, Blk 672A looping point, future stop, Blk 619C)
Punggol Central (Edgefield Pri School, Blk 298)
Punggol Interchange
** Route should in future turn right from Edgefield plains to cater to the new HDBs to open in 2015 and loop back via Edgedale plains

Hi mr BusAnalyser, 100% confirmed not city direct services because the circle which denote the new services on the LTA website map do not belong to the city direct services. Cheers.
As for the route, your proposed route is a bit too short. Think it will be much longer and connects to other estates too. Cheers.

There is definitely need for service to HDBs at Edgefield Plains end that are just getting occupied. This should be feeder than trunk. Route in future can be bigger once all the Waterway HDBs come up but that is only 2016+ when Edgedale plains end develops.
Actually planning not great. First the HdB complexes along Punggol central and Punggol Drive should have been developed where LRT/bus network already exists.
If longer route, can be intra town going to Nibong/Sumang walk HDBs just opening, though over there in a short distance walk you have LRT to Nibong.

Read his sentence and see the announcement thread found on the top of this forum...

Hi mr BusAnalyser, we shall see the implementation in the next few months. Predict August 2014. Have a strong feeling it will not be such a short route. Cheers.

You mean it will be trunk? By the way what happened to the significant upgrade to Sv 43 you mentioned a month ago, very confidently. You also said 43B will be introduced.

Hi mr busanalyser, i think will be trunk. I am still quietly confident that sbs 43 frequency will be further improved and i am still waiting patiently for it. Cheers.
Service 43
A bus arrives at the bus stop at 1.30 pm, the next bus at 1.55 pm, the next bus at 2pm, the next bus at 2.25pm, and the next bus at 2.45 pm.
Despite the space between the first and the last of the above-mentioned bus timings matching the frequency of Service 43, the frequency ranges from 5 min to 25 min.

Unless it serves Sumang Walk and the upcoming semi-expressway I don't see the need of such a feeder.

It may not be a feeder though...provided that Hougang's may not be a feeder as well.

You know before Sv 43 was operating with only 16 buses of which 12 were SDs and only 4 DDs. The service has come a long way with 20-21 buses of which 11 are SDs and 10 are DDs. I remember earlier, you would have a Sv 43 bus coming at interval of min 17 min to around 25 mins.
Now situation is much better. You have a bus every 12-14 mins. And there is a 50% probability of it being a dd.
I think as more flats get ready along Punggol west, Buangkok drive, there might be need to add 2 more buses and hopefully both DDs.

The service could be something like 43M from Punggol looping @ NEX. I am not sure what other unique routes there can be at this stage from Punggol as trunk. It will mostly duplicate existing services heavily.

During off peak hours when A and E shifts are operating, there should be 15 buses, a 15-20 min frequency and 1/4 chance of it being a DD. But it seems to be 20 - 25 mins frequency and 1/8 chance of it being a DD.

If 43 is amended like some users said, you are going to make it another Service 74 with half the buses and lower ridership.
43 on special sundays. Freq can be up to 30mins each bus.

If it is amended, it will get more buses, my friend. Also, it will be good for Punggol west residents near Sumang, Nibong to get a service to Sengkang, YCK road. The ridership will not be low, in fact will increase.
43 needs BSRF. The frequency is very unstable, and sometime buses do bunch up despite the long frequency.
Actually i think 62 can merge with 113 and ply upp serangoon rd > hougang st 21 > hougang ave 1 instead of hougang ave 3 > tampines road > hougang st 21

That's not a bad suggestion, just that travel time for people traveling will increase by 10-15 minutes, hence this change will not take place.
113 is okay the way it is. Very low loading even AM peak towards Upper Paya Lebar rd. High loading is only towards Kovan MRT 3-4 stops during peak time (only one direction).

113's loading towards upper paya lebar road are mostly students boarding from kovan station which is up till 7.15am. If they catch the 7.25am bus that means they are already late for school. 62 and 113 share loading at hougang. If 113 comes first, there will be 10-15 standees in the KUB turning out of hougang ave 10. AM peak i would say return trip to kovan station would be the high loading part. For Sv 62 also likewise high loading or adequate loading towards aljunied and not the other way round during AM.

I would say off peak only extra 5-8mins while peak hours 10-15mins cause alot of ppl will be alighting and boarding along upp serangoon rd/hg st 21
New routes could get the axe if there is insufficient patronage. Transperth has practiced this before. Bus lobbyists who got their routes should start worrying now.
