Since the earlier thread has crossed 2000 posts, thought of creating the next one to continue our discussion on route suggestions.
I want to start with a route suggestion.
sv 229
Bedok MRT
Bedok South Road
Bedok South Ave 1
Upper East Coast Road
Bedok South Road
Bedok South Ave 3
Upper East Coast Road
Bedok South Ave 1
Bedok South Road
Bedok MRT
** Faster connectivity to Bedok MRT from Bedok South Ave 3, Bedok South Road without looping at Chai Chee
** New connection between UEC and Bedok MRT which is missing today
** Nothing lost for stops missed at Bedok South Road, as it will be covered by sv 38

You need to post a route suggestion in the first post.

So SBST made dd debut on Sv 228 just to fit in 60-65 pax when a KUB can comfortably bring them to their destination

Do you know what a cameo means? DDs on 228 were just cameo appearances. It was never perm. Most times the loading does not exceed 50-55 pax.
Suggesting a route extension for 198.
VIa Jln Bukit Merah, Cantonment road, Expressway, Fort Road, Mountbatten Road, Amber road, Marine parade road, bedok south ave 1/road, Bedok Int.
To BusAnalyzer:
On what grounds do you say 84 will be redundant when the location of Nth Punggol Stn is not even finalised?
And will the MRT even reach Punggol End?
If worst comes to the worst, 84 can be leased to private operators, I'm sure some will be more than happy to receive it.
OT: Looks like the developments at Punggol North and West are going on fast, a sign for the Punggol West LRT to kick in once the flats are completely finished...

It's not even a cameo. It was a trial that kinda failed (unfortunately).

You should look up on LTA's website. There is a plan to construct a MRT station near punggol end. Its most likely there. Or else where they construct? I predict punggol end will be converted to seaside condos in the near future.
As for punggol west LRT, i think need to have some spiritual cleansing around the LRT stations there. It seems to be "Dirty"

Ok haha, sorry my mistake, apologies to you and BusAnalyzer
84 can be leased, or perhaps amended to ply somewhere further, as mentioned by another user in the previous thread...

Bedok crowded with so many services... 30 also goes to both Bedok and Boon Lay, so it's (no offense) redundant.
Wenya or Weyna? All i know it sound like China.
I suggest a school holiday svc from Lim chu kang to Buangkok hospital for those bo liao kiddies to scan their brains..Depot will be full LCK cemetry park bus park
Wenya. Typo error. Hhuhuhuuhhuhhhu m
wenya the name quite weird

who wan to take 30 all the way to bedok?? Only kids or joyriders will take~ i suggest bullet train from bedok to boonlay~ 5 mins shun shun reach~ Maybe can feedback to LTA~

I express my deepest apologies, it is my mistake for glancing without checking properly. With that I take back whatever I have said.
As to SBS5011L, it's really daring of you to guess 84 will be redundant as that svc has a lot of potential, and gain extension and fleet add. It will be very useful in that case, enhancing connectivity between Punggol North and the NE-ern suburbs.

What about 196? Bedok Int is so heavily congested alr. And so many svcs go to the west from there!

Simple. No new routes to Woodlands,Boon Lay, Tampines and Bedok. These 4 interchange are freaking congested. If got new route to these 4 interchanges then idk wad to say. That person is losing his mind
