Kranji should set up a bus interchange/terminal for 170 buses and a few other svc...
I completely support the idea for a bus terminal at Kranji. But definitely 178, 960 should not start from there as it loses the whole Woodlands link.
Services that should initiate here:
925A - supplement service to 925 to Sungei Kadut (areas not covered by 925, without doing the dam loop)
170X (as today)
856 - Better to start from Kranji than going back all the way to Woodlands from Marsiling. Alternate services and transfer points available for Woodlands
904 - can be extended via Woodlands Grove and ave 1 to Kranji and act as an intratown connecting new area within WDL to MRT as well as provide relied to 912.
I also wish there is a terminal at Woodlands Checkpoint.
Services to initiate here:
903, 911, 912, 913, new service going east (164) without going to WRI
Imagine the relief given to WRI with this terminal.

And CW1. Especially important for CW1 and 170X as they block up the bus stop waiting for pax to board, with no dedicated terminal as a boarding point.
Just wondering why 170X wasn't re-numbered 170M together with other SBST route variants of a parent svc... Actually 170X could be given a different number since it is a separate svc from 170 and operates full day also.

Basically 170X isn't known as 170X to many people...on the bus guide it is now as such, but when it is on service it is better to be know as 'Blue Plate'.

I think I remembered that I had mentioned this before that there is indeed Woodlands Checkpoint Terminal in the past and it is closed down for a reason...

Why? Why Tanah Merah?
For Tanah Merah extending bus lane effect time, extending bus stops and tightening on mandatory give way is enough.

Don't forget the Kranji Express bus..

It became a bus park, last time 911/912/913 stopped there and pick up pax but that was more than 10 years ago

It can just get a new number.

No need for Tanah Merah - there is UEC, Tampines and Bedok closeby. UEC can be expanded.
SBS Transit BSEP 164 (Toa Payoh Int <> Sembawang Int)
https://mapsengine.google.com/map/viewer?mid=zs70d3gkW184.kO_4Q5ARcnrc
Infomation:
* The service number 164 was use because in the north, there are 160, 161, 168 & 170 by SBS Transit... Furthermore, Toa Payoh Int also have 163, so 164 is a suitable number for this route in terms of number series connection...
* Furthermore, this is what i thought for the service no.164:
- Wlands area: 160, 161, 168, 169
- YCK area: 162, 163
- SBW area: 167
- Upp. Thomson area: 163, 169
- AMK area: 165, 166
So, overall I decided to use 164 since 16x series all matched nicely along or near its route...

Well done.
Finally a service express from Sembawang Int. This is a very good route that I foresee will significantly boost connectivity between Sembawang and North/Central/Northeast (163) Singapore. One example is how Fernvale residents and YCK Rd commuters can now choose to travel 163 <--> 164 as a direct and fast mean to connect between Sembawang Town/Admiralty and their respective locations.
Another thing I really like about the route is how WDL Ave 12 is being fully utilised here. With the new flats and the new hospital coming up that place will surely thrive with heavy traffic, both vehicle and human, and it would be a enormous contrast to Ave 12 today, where only a few cars pass through plain fields to get onto SLE, and hardly a trace of human movement. As such a new service would definitely be required to cater to such potential location. As I have said before, this service is high in potential as it plies express to YCK Rd, and plus altogether how it brings ppl from Ave 12 (especially those from hospital) to nearest town centre (Sembawang) and MRT and it allows residents and patients and visitors to seamlessly transfer to the many services along YCK Rd and Toa Payoh within just a few stops after the expressway, I can foresee that this service will always be packed to the door due to high demands. Thus I recommend 60% DDs on this route, and frequency to be around 10 mins or less.
Excellent service you have proposed here, keep it up!
Edit: Oh but on a side note I discourage this service to be under SBST as it does not blend in well with the Woodlands side, and dual-depot will also not be possible if SBST takes the service. Anyways great service there!

Thanks for your comments!
If ever the same route is introduced, we'll see how it goes about with the fleet. SBS Transit was selected because of the route which plies mostly on SBS Transit controlled areas.
If it is by SMRT, probably I would have to skip around TPY and used Thomson area like 167,980, to enter PIE like 143, which i might not want to clash with 167,980 too much since it's from SBW as well. The route might eventually become super express.
I would not concentrate too much on Woodlands and Yishun side basically because there are 966 & 851 closest to TPY. However, at SBW, there are ample space for new bus services to start there, which is why I also chose to ply Wlands Ave 12 which would be a greater choice for future links.
Anyway, really thanks for your comments!

Interesting route... Although the Sembawang/Woodlands - Yio Chu Kang/Ang Mo Kio/Toa Payoh corridor is currently served by the MRT, your route directly connects the areas further from the MRT via the expressway, where multiple bus and/or MRT transfers would currently be required. E.g. Woodlands South - Upp Thomson/YCK and AMK East - TPY East. This route would be useful for students travelling between Sembawang/Woodlands or Toa Payoh and Nanyang Poly/ ITE College Ctrl.
Although Woodlands Ave 12 will need bus svcs in future, it is practically undeveloped at the moment, and such a bus svc may not be so useful if introduced right now. Maybe it can ply Woodlands Ave 6/7 instead of Ave 12 all the way to serve existing flats in Admiralty/Woodlands South.
Similar to 188E/188R and 963E/963R, svc 65 could have weekday peak hour (65e) and weekend full day (65R) route variants to provide a faster connection between Tampines/Bedok Reservoir/Kaki Bukit and Orchard/Harbourfront/RWS.

By the time this bus service can really come true the hospital and flats would already be well functioning alr...

For 65R, it should just skip Orchard altogether, as you already have svc 5 for services towards Orchard, and not to mention the normal svc 65 too.
It should be a direct to RWS so as to provide an incentive to switch over to 65R for direct connections to RWS.
So I propose for it to go PIE -> KPE -> MCE -> AYE and straight to HBF/RWS via Keppel.
But idk if this is even possible... So if it isn't then it should take the Lower Delta Rd exit instead of the Keppel exit.

Not bad... Just the Woodlands Ave 12 part, where it kinda backtracks to Woodlands and Mandai... I suggest that it goes by Canberra Link/Yishun Ave 2, since 169 plys two bus stops at the northern point of Yishun Ave 2 and they bring a good load...

Hmm..can connect to Serangoon then TPY or so :o
Tbh as what I can see, it's loading going to be like 980/167 style.
If can, instead of going to YCK/AMK, you can go further down along Upper Thomson?
