Taman Jurong & Joo KoonActually, to think about it, having a direct bus service to Joo Koon from Taman Jurong is a good idea, with benefits such as:
- -Commuters from Taman Jurong can travel to Joo Koon directly without going through the MRT or Boon Lay Bus Interchange; shorter travelling times.
- -Workers (staying in other parts of Singapore) in the upcoming Tukang Innovation Park can commute on this bus service to Joo Koon Bus Interchange and use the MRT to travel home - instead of going through Boon Lay Bus Interchange.

Hi. I would like to suggest a new bus service that provides direct connection to Ngee Ann Polytechnic, SIM University and Maju camp - from Jurong West. Similar to 185, this bus service shall originate from Soon Lee Bus Depot and Buona Vista Bus Terminal.

So the bus somehow runs "express" at (slightly) more than half of the route. This may make it more convincing to LTA to consider such a long-distance trunk bus service suggestion.

Good route. Will help to relieve loading between Ngee Ann and Holland on sv 61. Also provide new connection to people along Boon Lay area that is not connected by 185.

Route Amendment to Service 128
Introduced as an MRT-parallel service, Service 128 heavily duplicates the rail network from Yio Chu Kang to Tanjong Pagar, as well as Service 162, which also plies between Yio Chu Kang and Shenton Way via Ang Mo Kio and Bishan.
Below is a route amendment which provides better connectivity between the north-east areas of Singapore and Orchard Rd/Shenton Way.

With reference to the complaints about the provision of night bus services made in the shortening of NRs thread, I suggest a re-organization of the current night bus services and the merger of Nite Owl and NightRider into a single basic-plus service type to reduce the duplication of Nite Owls/NightRiders and increase the efficiency of night bus services.
With this suggested re-organization, the public transport operators will operate night bus services which connect to the areas they manage only. A standardized flat fare of $3.50 will be charged per ride. Transfers between night bus services will be free of charge if commuters use their ez-link card.
- SBST: Ang Mo Kio, Bedok, Bishan, Bukit Merah, Clementi, Eunos, Hougang, Jurong East, Jurong West, Marine Parade, Pasir Ris, Punggol, Queenstown, Sengkang, Serangoon, Simei, Tampines, Toa Payoh.

Hi mr SBS7557R, good for sbs 128M. It will be better if go by Punggol field then all the way until Punggol way then right turn to anchorvale st. This avoids major traffic build up at Punggol road and avoids duplication with sbs 83. So must skip Punggol road and compassvale st. It also speeds up the journey time in this way. Cheers.

But please take note that currently for sbs transit, there is intra-town charges which is about $2. So you cannot implement $3.50 flat fee for all. This will affect some people seriously. Charges cannot be raised too much for this group of people. Thanks.

In conjunction with upcoming facilities in Changi Business Park area, svc.41 & 126 will be introduced to temporary loop at the Changi South Ave 1, outside the future Changi Business Park Bus Terminal. These 2 bus services will cater the needs to certain MRT stations and quick getaway near to city areas.
On the other hand, new svc.44 will bring you to the growing town, Punggol. The inconvenience along Kaki Bukit has been a highlight for this introduction due to the stretch without any bus service plying.

They need to re- route some existing services to create space at other crowded interchanges. This way can introduce service from HG to Defu, will need new service within Sengkang town near Jalan Kayu once the HDBs there are occupational. Need space at Serangoon for new service.

Buangkok will surely get new svc but mostly short or medium haul type..Its corridors is well served by either Sengkang/Punggol and Hougang svc.153 from Buangkok to Bt Merah seems to be good idea..

Hi mr BusAnalyser, serangoon int is tight. Sengkang int still has scope for 2 to 3 more services, hougang int will be further enhanced when they move away from current site to be integrated with mrt later on. So no need re-route existing routes to create space. Cheers.
