37x is Sengkang and will possibly a feeder in future to Jalan Kayu. Punggol should get 38x maybe. 84 should become 384 in future.

85 takes too long to get from Punggol to Yishun.
Maybe 85 can operate express on some sectors and intro a feeder bus service to amend it's holes?

I think with TPE stop coming up... People can just take 39/858/969... Quite few good options.

Hi mr SBS5010P, it duplicates sbs 3 and sbs 83 and also a portion of the east LRT. It also has no uniqueness in its route. It is just not going to happen when duplicate LRT. I think a more appropriate one is to go the other side to compliment the west LRT. Cheers.

Hi mr SBS5010P, its purpose is to bring not only Punggol but also sengkang east and sengkang west people to yishun. Its journey time is just about appropriate with express sector after Jalan Kayu to lentor ave. Previously it is even faster with express sector straight after sengkang east road. Now it has to turn in to sengkang east/west way to serve the ballooning HDB flats at fernvale area along sengkang west way. Cheers.

Hi mr SBS5010P, hougang residents can take the extremely frequent sbs 72 from hougang int/ave 4/ave 9 to yio Chu Kang mrt and switch to yishun. It is faster. Cheers.

According to a post on Facebook, it seems that the construction of the Yishun Temporary Bus Interchange started last week. Based on how the Boon Lay Temporary Bus Interchange was constructed from around February 2006 to June 2006, I suppose the Yishun Temporary Bus Interchange should be ready by October, and operations at Yishun Bus Interchange would relocate there during the December holidays.

I have proposed this route because the amount of Foreign Workers taking this bus svc from their dorms @ Jalan kayu on Sundays and PHs are in loads. Also, the people who are travelling to nex also utilise this bus service if svcs 43,70 hasnt arrived. It would be a good SWT on weekends and PHs.
Should 550 serve Jalan Kayu ?
