Roadside terminal?

Hi mr SMB128B, if want roadside terminal, it should not be at serangoon central due to heavy built-up traffic. So the route of sbs 82 needs be extended. I predict they realise the best is to switch the interchange from serangoon to punggol at that time. Cheers.

In the first place, it was poor planning to build such a small interchange in a strategically important location like Serangoon. Could have had so many other services start from there, especially with so many new ones coming in.
Will be nice if the CGA services have a M/C varient that plies either the coach bay or any of the three departure/arrival hall routes. The good thing is that the coach bay can ply bendies (and probably DDs). The bad thing is that if the service serve all three departure/arrival routes, it has to enter Airport Bovelard after each terminal it serves. The M/C varient comes every alternate bus. At least with this, each CGA service will have at most 50% DDs/bendies (which is much better than nothing)
If that happens, 36 and 36M will have different start points :D
Dunno when will HG int start converting into A/C int. The landspace opp hg int is so huge, could have built 5 shopping malls.
Pretty sure HG int would be the last. I Read the floorplan and it states that HG int will be relocated to The junction where 80,87,89,325 turn left to Hougang ave 10/punggol rd. By right it should be ready long time ago.. It was proposed long ago lo.. Now fallen on deaf ears already

Svc 84 can go to Punggol 17th Ave and U-turn there to go back to Punggol Rd before heading towards Punggol Rd End. Just like what svc 405 is doing. (just my suggestion)

All should go via coach bay... The whole system of going from one basement to the other with checking everywhere is stupid... And not efficient.. If LTA puts a little thought, it can easily figure out how to do it.
36 can start from Bukit Merah as my friend cbb rightly pointed out. It can do Bukit Merah -- Jalan Bukit Merah -- Redhill Close -- Redhill MRT -- Tanglin road -- Orchard road and continue its normal route... No need for 36B anymore since DDs can do the job.
I feels that 120 could extend to terminate at Marina Centre Terminal via Eu Tong Sen Street, Hill Street and Raffles Boulevard as it can provide alternative (and cheaper) linkage between Chinatown and Marina Centre besides downtown line MRT as well as linkages between Marina Centre and Jalan Bukit Merah/Telok Blangah Heights.

Then 81 will go back to there (when it becomes permanant)?

I rather have it: Cantonment Road > Keppel Road (Express) > Anson Road > Robinson Road > Fullerton Road > Esplanade Link > Raffles Blvd. CBD not that congested, especially during off-peak...

81 is a good example of a service which has been affected by this move. Why should they make it loop at Serangoon and let the BC suffer for 2 hrs just for this loop service?

I mean, one from Punggol Rd End.

It will be duplicating 75 and I don't see any point in doing so. Besides along Anson Road there are services like 97, 133 besides 75 which goes deep inside Marina Centre.

Excellent idea! The CCK residents dont have to squeeze with the foreign workers and army peeps taking 975, while 975 goes faster towards sungei tengah and lck via kje. Should suggest to LTA!
