Extension of Yew Tee Point to accomodate a new interchange and revamp bus routes around Yew Tee area. Service 302 & Service 307 to stay as it is.
New Service 301 (Yew Tee Int - Choa Chu Kang Cres [Loop])
New Service 303 (Yew Tee Int - Choa Chu Kang St 51 [Loop])
Should 371 start from Punggol Int, ends at Sengkang Int?

Hi mr TIB429E, of course no. I think no point. It will heavily duplicate sbs 83 and sbs 50 if it does so besides the uniqueness at rivervale drive and crescent. Cheers.

Maybe the two new services:
115 starting from HG, HG ave 5/7, going to Defu, HG ave 3, Kovan, HG st 21, HG ave 3, Defu ave Tampines rd, HG ave 7/5, HG interchange.
43M starting from Punggol via Senthul Crescent, Sumang Walk, Punggol West to NEX (loop) or Buangkok Link (loop)
966 and 15 should both terminate at Eunos. 966 should also serve Lor 6 TPY while going towards BPJ/Eunos (like 506). 15 revert to original Pasir Ris - Eunos route. Telok Kulau section can be covered by another service. Frequency for both service can be better controlled, and 15 can finally uses DDs.

1) Both services are similar to 410W & 410G from Bishan, running at opposite directions of the same route
2) Connect residents living around different parts of Sengkang
3)Better connectivity to the upcoming Seletar Mall in Fernvale

Hi mr lftwo1993, I think implement 1 direction will be more than enough. There are other alternatives such as sbs 50 and sbs 85 plus the LRT which also do this job. Cheers.

Too much duplication with LRT. When so much investment has gone into it, people should use it. Also, as dupdup pointed out you have sv 50 in the west loop, and 85 that actually acts as a Sengkang intratown service. You also have 163 from upcoming Seletar Mall that connects other parts of Sengkang/Punggol Road.
What Sengkang would need next is a feeder/trunk service covering the upcoming HDBs around Anchorvale, Sengkang West Way near Kupang, looping at Fernvale or going further down to Serangoon or AMK.

There's no open space around the parkway parade area to build a bus terminal...
It would be good for a bus svc to strt from hougang to fernvale crest (opp seletar mall) loop. There's an unused bus stop bay opp the mall.

Does not make sense. How many more services do you want to add between Hougang and ave 4/9/YCK road? We should not introduce services just for the sake of introducing. There needs to be a proper purpose. Please list with 3-4 bullet points how your service is going to benefit.
This way I can introduce 100 service suggestions tomorrow. Makes absolute no sense.

As I said, Sengkang-Fernvale need a service in future for upcoming HDB hubs around Kupang area, Anchorvale not catered by existing services today.

Marine Parade no space. Siglap have space but doing nothing about having a proper terminal there.
966 can infact be extended to Lor 1 Geylang Terminal via Meyer road, Fort road, Mountbatten road.
15 can continue to loop @ Marine Parade for time being.

Exactly. I have a home in fernvale too so my neighbours have been complaining that why isnt there a bus svc to hougang..
This svc can relieve 103, 147 load? Why not.

Kupang area? You mean those new HDB flats located along SK West Way between Sungei Punggol & Fernvale Link? There will be a new feeder service plying there soon I guess

I am just giving a suggestion, no need to get so worked up...
SPH as a government body will want to attract as many people as possible in the nearby neighbourhoods like Hougang, Punggol & possibly those living around Serangoon North to visit the Seletar Mall, and of course from other parts of Sengkang as well.
You never know what the LTA is thinking as random new services are popping out of nowhere these days...
If Haig Rd is DD-friendly, 31 should be amended to ply Haig Rd instead of Tg Katong Rd. The latter has various other services like 10, 30, 32, 43, 76, 135 & 197.
30 can ply Haig Rd in the direction of BNL. 76 can ply the full stretch of Haig Rd in the direction of YCK. Towards Marine Parade, it can ply Dunman Rd then Haig Rd.

I think it is a good suggestion. 76 can ply the whole stretch of Haig road considering you have 43/135 to ply Tanjong Katong road.
It would suggest to route 32 through Dunman and Haig road , since you have sv 10 covering the Tanjong Katong - East Coast stretch and you will have 10, 31 from Tanjong Katong to Dakota.
This way with 76 you provide connection between Paya Lebar stretch and Haig, and with 32 you provide connection with Kallang, Dakota and Haig. In the other direction, you will provide connectivity to Parkway Parade and East Coast road.
I will keep sv 30 the way it is.

all I am saying is when you propose new routes, make sure it provides some unique advantage/routing than just duplicating other routes. And please mention 3-4 bullet points on the value proposition of the proposed route.

Actually I am not even trying to propose anything with that route, just quoting without much planning. Would you kindly propose a route that connects Hougang to Fernvale, if you know which roads to ply for maximum efficiency?

Come, I amend Hougang part a bit
Hougang Ctrl, Ave 4, Buangkok Green, YCK Rd
Currently, that section of Ave 4, between Buangkok Rd and Ave 9 do not really have a direct route to Hougang. I am guessing that this is also the cause of the high loading on 109 from Serangoon to Hougang. Especially a Circle Line user. By the time a commuter transfer lines, go to Hougang, and prepare to transfer to either 101 or 161, the one at Serangoon may already reach Serangoon North, or at least the bus have arrived. If the Hougang commuter got lucky and 161/101 arrived immediately, 101/161 and 109 may reach Ave 4 at the same time. If not, 109 will most likely reach there first.
This is because both 101 and 161 turn to serve other parts of Hougang before heading to Hougang MRT. If this is implemented, it will reduce loading on 70/103 at YCK Rd and Buangkok Green commuters have an alternative to 43/325
