I don't usually suggest the fleet and bla bla bla. But here you go:
Fleet: 8 AMDEP MANs, 4 KJDEP MANs (SMB204P - SMB207G), 3 AMDEP/KJDEP Citaros
Frequency: Depends on run time and fleet
Anyway, everybody also do quiz after I did on the 'Give The Correct Answer'... So I also like you ma...
I think for airport fleet dun need too much buses unless good demand

Fleet: 7 buses
81 - Tampines Interchane loop @ Serangoon Central
(divert via route 29 - Tampines st 41, ave 9)
Fleet: 17 buses (8 dd, 9 sd)
Advantages:
* direct link for people along old tam pines road! upper changi, cranwell to Tampines MRT without doing the long loop of Tampines ave 9, st 41
* with diversion of Sv 81, provide direct link to HDBs along st 41, ave 9 to Pasir Ris, NEL; lost sector along tam pines ave 7 covered by Sv 21 to Pasir ris
* higher capacity buses on Sv 81 will further increase capacity along st 41, ave 9 to Tampines MRT

For your 81 its great but i was thinking 29 Start from Changi loop at Tampines instead to relieve Tampines congestion

How? It doesn't go to Telok Blangah Road (Harbourfront/Vivocity) like RWS8. I don't think RWS8 will get affected much, unless more people take 862 instead of taking other bus services to Harbourfront, then changing to RWS8.

Oh yeah, thanks for pointing out
Suggestion: re-route bus route 174 - for faster route to Boon Lay Bus Interchange and also for greater connectivity for Jurong West Extension residents to Bukit Batok and Bukit Timah areas.
from Jurong Road,
new section: 2.15km
skipped section (to BL: via Boon Lay Way): 2.23km
skipped section (from BL: directly to Jalan Boon Lay): 1.84km
Alternative bus route for affected commuters: 157. or is it better to re-route 157 instead?
I doubt SBS Transit would let bus routes going to/from Jurong West Street 64 to use the end-on berths. So, I think a bus service using the sawtooth beth would be re-routed to use the end-on berths, while 174 is re-routed and use the sawtooth berth. Actually, it would be good if a SMRT bus route can use the end-on berths. Any bus route being re-routed to use the end-on berths instead of the sawtooth berths would definitely be shorter in distance, enabling the operator to improve the operations of the bus service.
Suggestion: re-route feeder bus route 333 - for bus connection to Chinese Garden MRT Station (currently missing) from Jurong East Street 31/32 and Jurong East Street 21/24.
from Jurong East Avenue 1 (before Jurong Town Hall Road),

The Jurong section is already covered by several bus routes - 157 (to Bukit Batok), 98 (between Jurong East and Jurong West), 187 (between Bukit Batok and Jurong West Street 51), 99 (from Jurong West/East to Commonwealth Avenue West), etcetera .
I heard from somewhere that Commonwealth Avenue West has serious traffic congestion problem. Until measures are made to solve the traffic congestion problem, no new bus route should go along that road. Besides, there is already 99. It may be better if bus route 99 is re-routed instead, to use Jurong East Central to go to Boon Lay Way instead of Jurong Town Hall Road.
The Vivo City section seems to resemble bus route 30. The section to Changi Airport may not be feasible to operate.
You know, there is a reason why MRT can co-exist with bus. Considering the traffic jams during peak hours along AYE and a few other roads, using the MRT along the way may be a faster option to go to the Vivo City area from Jurong and Bukit Batok. Likewise to the city and Changi Airport.
Nonetheless, the bus connectivity between Toh Guan area of Jurong East and Bukit Batok should indeed be reviewed.

I personally feel that this is too similar to bus route 187.
Would it be better if bus route 187 is re-routed/extended instead?

Assuming that the suggestion is
This bus route does not go into Taman Jurong. If you want it to go into Taman Jurong and terminate at Taman Jurong Bus Terminal, it should not ply Bukit Batok East Avenue 3, PIE, Jurong Town Hall Road and Corporation Road. It should ply Bukit Batok Avenue 1, Jurong East Central 1 and Jurong East Avenue 1 in both directions, then
<alternative bus route to 99 and 185>
Distance of new bus route = ~14.25km (~2km shorter than route 185)
As an alternative to 99 and 185, the frequency of this new bus service should be similar as well: ~10 minutes during peak hours.
