My new version:
SBST Trunk Service 110 (Hougang Ctrl. Int. <-> Fernvale Road [Loop])
Map.
*Buangkok-Anchorvale sector retained. Extended to Hougang and Fernvale. Could be replacement for 324. Serves new BTOs along Fernvale Link, as well as those along Anchorvale Link, connects to Farmway LRT.
*Uses the different coloured red-white plates for Upper Serangoon sector.

Service 324 needs to be kept so that it can be fully utilised for the residents to connect to the nearest town centre, Hougang. Instead of going to Fernvale, why not loop at Punggol Interchange? Heres my suggestion. Routes will be the same till Renjong LRT apart from skipping Upper Serangoon Estate in which 324 serves. So this is the sequence of routes after Renjong LRT
Sengkang East Avenue
Anchorvale Road
Anchorvale Street
Sengkang East Road
Punggol Way
Punggol Central
Punggol Interchange
(loops back to Hougang or the other way around)
West Punggol Residents(currently being built) can enjoy direct connection to Sengkang Sports centre faster and also provide another alternative to Sengkang Sports centre from buangkok MRT apart from alleviating passenger load around Sengkang.
Maybe a new feeder bus from Sengkang can be implemented to cover the rest of the routes. Seems a faster way and quicker connection rather than going big round to Buangkok MRT

Does not make any sense going to Punggol... already many services feeding Sengkang-Punggol. Good move is to make it loop at Fernvale.
What about a route from Punggol/Sengkang that makes use of KPE to get to the city and terminates at Bukit Merah?

Definitely worth exploring...
It should connect Punggol East, Sengkang West, YCK road and via CTE go to Bugis / Orchard areas and terminate at Bukit Merah. Express sector will be highly useful... Return journey could be a challenge to fill the bus.. but maybe every alternate bus can come back off-service back to Punggol.

With Punggol soon becoming the densest populated town, it would definitely take more than just NEL to ferry people to CBD.

Hi mr SBS2656X, good suggestion but it will not happen to have bus service from Punggol to bukit merah. LTA will ask you take NEL and transfer to bus. Why? The additional trains to boost up the NEL by 30% capacity will be operational in mid 2015. There will be more than enough capacity for now.
So to all who are still harbouring for super long routes from Punggol or semi-express services from Punggol, please do not dream like I used to anymore. You will be sorely disappointed like me when they introduced sbs 386. I see loading of less than 5 people on sbs 386 on many days. Let's wait until end yr 2015 for new services, albeit short types. Cheers.
i foresee Sv 116 and Sv 386 getting 10 DDs by year 2050 ~

May I suggest having the following change to either SBST 145 or SBST 32?
Direction Commonwealth MRT to BV Terminal:
Commonwealth Ave [Commonwealth MRT]
Holland Ave [Holland Village MRT]
Holland Road
North Buona Vista Road
Holland Drive
And 'Right Turn' in BV Terminal.
As for direction from BV Terminal:
No changes necessary, both bus services can remaining to start from Commonwealth Ave [OS Blk 43]. For both the bus stops along Holland Avenue in direction towards Commonwealth Ave, are not centralised. One may as well walk to Commonwealth Ave if one already at bus stop Holland Ave [OS Blk 9]
Above change can help to 'supplement' the grossly inadequate SMRT 970, the only bus that go into Holland Avenue from Commonwealth Ave.

SBST would be happy to reuse that no 173..in fact SMRT should renumbered their former SBS handover svc

106 -- 706
167,169 -- 767,769

Premium 761 -- Premium 562
With the recent extension of Science Park Dr to Portsdown Flyover, 92 could be extended elsewhere.. 191 can also be extended. Only issue now is to where.
Eh some routes better left untouch despite low loadings..

Yep... 386 will come in handy when the PTOs in Punggol have finished construction. Only reason why we see it with such low loadings today is because the PTOs are not done yet... 84 is also okay, it helps passengers to go all the way up to Punggol Road End for people to go to the restaurants and enjoy the scenery there.

It's to link the new PTOs to the schools.
