Actually very simple, 859 can be a loop service only terminating at either one of the interchange, route so short like 18,69,60,17 type of buses.

I rather like 859 to loop at Yishun Central(Poly) there rather than terminate at Yishun..
After the the current 859 renumbered as 856A and 859A/B renumbered as 884A/B
new 859

I have seen why 169 is packed, but should this be a modified SWT of 169?

Originally posted by BusAnalayzer:But its not operational right?
Not in operation since its only 130 using, but the whole terminal bay is still the same, no change... Since there is still ample space, so why not revive the connectivity for Sin Ming...

Under current situation, probably only 1 svc can park there...

Hougang Ave 1 – Serangoon Central (Loop)
BCs and buses can rest and layover at Kovan Hub or the disused bus stop along Tampines
Road if Kovan Hub is closed for event.

IMO, no need for 53M.

I think there has been talk about 16 getting amended in the future to serve the National Stadium.

That would be a good option to re-route sv 16 via stadium again. For the missing link, there is sv 14 upto Patterson to fill in for loss of route of sv 16.
Not sure if sv 16 needs DDs though even if Merdeka Bridge area has become DD friendly. Maybe S-Shift 2-3 DDs max.
16 should give a few duties to Bndep

I saw a facebook post a couple of months ago about how new bus stops were erected along Stadium Drive where 11 does not serve, possibly hinting 16's reamendment to stadium once again and based on 16's loading (I am a frequent commuter), I think full SD fleet for 16 is fine, but won't hurt to try B9TLs on it though I am not sure Joo Chiat road is DD friendly.

16 probably can't have DDs due to Joo Chiat Rd

Yes I agree. 16 is doing fine with full fleet SDs. Do you think the new stops along Stadium Drive could be for the new Kallang service LTA proposed? Yes, best would be to re-route sv 16 from there.

Start at Yio Chu Kang better.
I would suggest a supplementaty service for Service 5.
Service 5M- Pasir Ris Interchange- Jalan Eunos (Loop)
Route Same as Service 5 except it turns left to Bedok Reservoir Road and Jalan Tenaga before resuming its journey back to Pasir Ris
- Serves Pasir Ris East Estate, Upper Changi Road North Industrial Estate, Simei, Bedok Reservoir Estate and Kaki Bukit Industrial Estate
- Improves frequency on both directions mainly on the eastern side from Kaki Bukit Estate onwards towards Pasir Ris.
-Improves link to MRT Stations like Pasir Ris, Upper Changi, Simei and Kaki Bukit MRT stations
For those heading towards Pasir ris from Kaki Bukit especially need to wait 20+ mins for Service 5 to arrive hopefully this introduction will improve those residents who require inter town connection from Bedok Reservoir to Simei
