Originally posted by SBS5010P:Hougang interchange has problems with the capacity of parking lots already. I have seen bcs finding parking lots by turning round and round just to park their bus. Yes 113 can start from Serangoon Int if it is extended and loop at Hougang Interchange and sometimes BC can layover at hougang central to rest/ meal breaks rather than hogging space at Serangoon sometimes.
112 & 113 should start from Kovan Hub.107 should terminate at Serangoon.161 should start from Hgdep
Route Suggestions for Hougang/Sembawang/CCK Area

BSEP Service 988: Sembawang - Choa Chu Kang

I suggest Svc 115 start from Hougang Depot and loops at Kovan City. At least a proper place for the BCs to rest and provide alternative route to the nearest MRT station for passengers from Defu Lane side walking out to Hougang Ave 3...
Svc 115
Hougang Depot - Kovan City (Loop)
via
Defu Ave 1
Hougang Ave 3
Upp Serangoon Rd
Hougang St 21 (Kovan City)
Hougang Ave 1
Lor Ah Soo
Hougang Ave 3
Defu Ave 1
Then Kovan City could have another service serving passengers using the current Svc 115 route to Hougang Depot too.

New svc from Bukit Brown terminal to Lim Chu Kang Cemetry terminal,666
New svc from Sungei Poyan to Yishun Dam terminal

Taman Kembangan (1 stop, 42)
Jalan Kembangan (1 stop, 42)
Changi Road (continues from here on existing route to Toa Payoh Interchange)
* Bold Italic show edited route with new stops and existing stop shared with only one service today
* Advantage: Provide trunk service to the condos/HDBs within Kembangan/Chai Chee and connection to Bedok/Kembangan MRT
* Current route of sv 26 highly duplicated and mostly used only as an alternative
* 2 BSEP fleet add (Citaros) with this change. Total fleet size: 16 buses with frequency 12-13 mins from current 14-16 mins.
Revisit of Svc 26 extension originally posted by me, amended by BA.
TPY - LYDEP (R/W Plate system)
Present day sector from TPY to Sims Ave East
Above amendment till Chai Chee St
(Revisited sectors below)
Bedok North Ave 1
New Upp Changi Rd/East (Bedok, Tanah Merah, Upp Changi MRT, ITE East, STUD)
TPE
Loyang Ave
(Towards Loyang)
Loyang Ave, Lane, Way, Dr (Depot)
(From Loyang)
Loyang Dr, Way, Dr (Depot), Pasir Ris Dr 3, Loyang Ave (Yes, it pass LYDEP twice towards TPY)
Technically, it is like Svc 2, but section it divert from Changi Rd is at Kembangan/Chai Chee instead of Upp Changi
Add an additional service to STUD/ITE East via 24's route. This is to help 24 cope with forseen loadings that will rise when STUD is operational. Also, if 26 arrives first, airport pax can board 24 instead of squeezing in with ITE/STUD pax.
Add a faster way from Tanah Merah MRT/STUD to Loyang area. This amemdment of 26 also connects STUD with a stop along Loyang Ave, where many Pasir Ris and beyond services call at. STUD pax can choose to change service at that stop.
Add a service to the south-west area of Loyang Industrial without adding a service from Pasir Ris or Tampines
Remove a service slot at Bedok, freeing up space for one more potential service.
Originally posted by SBS5010P:If it could get extended to Sengkang,
Would suggest to go via 62's routing then 136's routing into rivervale dr, then 87's routing into Sengkang Int.
Or
Duplicate 27's sector to Sengkang Int
I prefer it does:
Sengkang Interchange
Compassalve Walk (2 new stops)
Compassalve Lane (1 new stop)
Sengkang West Ave (1 stop)
Punggol Road (1 stop)
Buangkok Dr (1 new stop)
Upper Serangoon Road
Hougang Ave 8... and then continues its route to loop @ Upper Paya Lebar road or Serangoon Central.
** This way people living along Com Walk and Lane will have direct access to both Sengkang MRT and Punggol road to transfer to other buses + condos at Buangkok Dr get service to both HG MRT and Sengkang.
** I would have liked if LTA would have planned sv 324 better to meet needs of more commuters (and it could have been numbered 114)

My suggestion on 115 is similar but without Defu
HGDEP
HG Ave 3
Upper Serangoon Rd
HG St 21
Tampines Road
HG Ave 3
HGDEP
* Operation hours extended until 23.00 hours. This way people along HG Ave 3 get direct access to Kovan MRT in both directions
* For missed loop to HG Ave 1, people can take sv 113.
My suggestion for service 114
HG Interchange
HG Ave 5
HG Ave 7
Tampines Rd
Defu Ave (does multiple inner streets/avenues before looping back)
* Operational only until 18.00 hours from HG Interchange

I strongly feel sv 26 should do Chai Chee/Kembangan... it will provide high convenience to ppl living in these areas. Not sure about extension to LYDEP though.

The route is not old Svc 111... But the destinations (Ghim Moh and Hougang St 21) are the same as old Svc 111, before it was shortened to loop at Marina Centre today.

oops. I meant both destinations

(This will provide a quick link between Yishun, Sembawang Rd, Tagore Estate and YCK, and can hopefully ease some of the morning crowds on 169 / 812.P.S. I did consider using other routes like the SLE expresses (39, 858, 965 etc.), but a quick review through past threads suggests that these routes are incredibly crowded during peak hours, so ... ^_~ )
This was suggested a while ago on 852, but with the Yishun temporary bus interchange opening, there may be some overcrowding problems, so I decided to use "859" instead, but renumbering the extended service as 829 while 859B/859A becomes full time Sembawang feeder. (Lost links at Yishun Ave 5 are still provided by 856.) Crowds will be dispersed between Yishun and Khatib, reducing the need and waiting time of emptying the bus for new loads like 169.
And perhaps it's time to extend 85 to Sembawang? Its loading isn't as heavy as 39 and 969, and Sembawang residents can benefit from an SLE service too. Altogether this will free two bus slots from the overcrowded Yishun Int.
P.S. The editor on mobile really sucks.

How about my route suggestion that can benefit Sembawang?
https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=ztS-Uf2TrPbg.kk
And in future Sembawang will benefit from North-South Expressway(NSE).
274 or 275 - Bukit Merah > Lengkok Bahru/Hoy Fatt Road (Loop)
Bukit Merah Int
Bukit Merah Central
Jalan Bukit Merah

Tiong Bahru Road - Redhill MRT station
Redhill Close (use 63's stop, then new bus stop along one-way road)
Jalan Bukit Merah
