Honestly 406 would provide a good alternative to 85. However who would go to Punggol or board 406 to SK west?
For Sv 407, extend 113 to SK int?

113 would be too long imo...

This whole parks numbering thing is stupid and inconsistent. Explain 405?

I prefer if 49 change to 244 or 332 to match with the service number in JE/ Taman Jurong area
41 can change also. It doenst match lol
386 can change to 370 to match with Sengkang area routes.

Please feedback LTA and see what they have to say...
24X & 33X are meant for feeder bus routes.
Speaking of which, I have a suggestion for a new feeder bus route/service in Jurong West (Pioneer). This new route plies Jurong West Street 65 and completes quite a number of "puzzles" (providing new bus connections). Distance is around 6.1 to 6.2km, similar to route 241, hence I categorise it as 'feeder'.
New Jurong West feeder (loops at Pioneer Road North)

386 is a Punggol feeder, hence its 38x number. The 37x numbers are for Sengkang feeders.

New Jurong West feeder (loops at Pioneer Road North)
- Boon Lay Bus Interchange
- Jurong West Central 3
- Jurong West Street 64
- Jurong West Street 65
- Jurong West Street 63
- Pioneer MRT Station
- Pioneer Road North
- Jurong West Avenue 5
- Jurong West Street 71
- Jurong West Avenue 4
- Pioneer Road North
- Pioneer MRT Station
- Jurong West Street 63
- Jurong West Street 65
- Jurong West Street 64
- Jurong West Central 3
- Boon Lay Bus Interchange
- Benefits:
- 1. Shorter bus route from blks 97X, blks 83X and blks 71X to MRT.
- 2. Complements heavily utilised bus routes, such as 243, 242, 241 and 181.
- 3. Enhanced bus connection for blks 67X, blks 63X and blks 61X.
Does not really serve a great purpose. Covered by most other routes. Like 192,193 for Ave 4 and 185 for Ave 5.
I would like to see a service for Corporation Road either from Lakeside or Boon Lay, given that today there is only 178 that plies the entire stretch. With new BTO flats opening there, makes sense to have a short trunk service to Corporation Rd.
New Trunk route/service which would create new bus connections while improve bus connectivity, in Buona Vista, Clementi, Jurong Gateway, and most importantly, to/fro Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
Hopefully, if this route/service is a reality, the congestion problem at Clementi MRT Station bus stop can be relieved.
New Buona Vista-Jurong East route

New Buona Vista-Jurong East route
- Buona Vista Bus Terminal
- North Buona Vista Road (Buona Vista MRT)
- Vista Exchange Green
- Commonwealth Avenue West (serves new HDB flats at Ghim Moh Link)
- Commonwealth Avenue West (Dover MRT)
- Clementi Road
- Clementi Road (Ngee Ann Polytechnic)
- Pan Island Expressway
- Toh Guan Road
- Jurong Gateway Road
- Jurong East Bus Interchange (Jurong East MRT)

- - exit PIE via Upper Bukit Timah Road, Jalan Jurong Kechil, Jalan Anak Bukit and Clementi Road.
- - enter Buona Vista Bus Terminal via Commonwealth Avenue, Holland Avenue and Holland Drive.
Hi mr jurongwestresident, suggestion not too bad but sbs 74 covers the buona vista to ngee Ann poly section well. Duplicating route. Cheers.
Should loop at JE Int.
Anyway, there are currently no actual way from Beauty World MRT to Ngee Ann Poly, only from Ngee Ann - Beauty World (52/75/184). We need a service coming from Clementi Rd to loop at there. The place the route originated from will definately duplicate sone current day routes, but here is what I can think of so far.
95 (Kent Ridge - Beauty World MRT via Holland Village)
Current day route to Holland Village
61/75's route to Upp Bukit Timah (Loop point)
The closest stop will probably be Bukit Timah Link, where there is only 61, and 75/184 bus stop along Jln Anak Bukit is quite a distance. Having another service to call at that stop will be really useful.
Sv 71 Ang Mo Kio - Serangoon Int
Ang Mo Kio - Serangoon Int (Loop)
Ang Mo Kio Int (AMK MRT, AMK HUB)
Ang Mo Kio Ave 8 (AMK MRT, Jubilee)
Ang Mo Kio Ave 5 (Nanyang Poly, ITE College Central)
Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 (Relieves 45's loading towards Serangoon MRT)
Lor Chuan
Serangoon Ave 2
Serangoon Int (Loop) (Serangoon MRT, NeX)

This route is exact copy of sv 45. What's the advantage? sv 45 capacity has already been beefed up with so many DDs and increase in number of buses. That should take care of the loading.

There are fewer major roads here, and fortunately most major roads were covered well here. Whilst the residents need more bus services, to supplement the 'sub-standard' services provided by SMRT. Imagine 2 SBSTransit 7 had gone and I have yet to see a SMRT106? Perhaps SMRT are overloaded in providing services 190 and 970.

Beauty World MRT will have an exit along Jln Jurong Kechil, where you can take 61 to Ngee Ann Poly. There's a map here on a blog which also shows the MRT construction updates. (it's not an official map but it's based on accurate info)

Great suggestion, the crowds at Clementi MRT can get really terrible so good to have an alternative station for MRT pax to take bus to Clementi Rd, especially those heading from Jurong East/West. Good use of Jurong Gateway Rd to avoid the crowded section of Toh Guan Rd.

True however i thought it could provide relief to 45.
