My twist to routes 85 & 103
85
Yishun Interchange > Yishun Ave 2 > Yishun Ave 1 > Seletar Airport > Picadilly > Seletar TPE stop > Jalan Kayu > Sengkang West Way > current route to Rivervale Dr > Upper Serangoon Rd > Hougang Interchange
103
Punggol Interchange > sv 85 current route to Rivervale Dr > Punggol road > Sengkang East Way > Sengkang West Way > Jalan Kayu > sv 103 current route to loop @ Serangoon
* Those who want to travel from Seletar TPE stop to YCK road can take sv 86 and change to sv 50 or new sv 103.
* I know this change will NOT be implemented, but wanted to give my twist to these two services
* If implemented, both routes will have heavy loading due to route design.

Hi mr busanalyser, lucky these are merely suggestions. Or else Punggol residents get yet another service to loop at serangoon besides sbs 82. The SBS 103 current route to serangoon also duplicate sbs 43/43M in a way. Moreover, they lose their only direct service to khatib and yishun (current Sbs 85) which is the choice of residents here. We prefer sbs 85 (our direct gateway to the north of singapore) now. We certainly do not want so many connections to the same old serangoon. Cheers. Thanks.

there could be a route from Yishun to Punggol introduced. or could be Sembawang to Punggol via Yishun & Seletar.

As I said very unlikely to be introduced. Current 85 though has very poor loading due to its winding route. Most people along Punggol prefer to take bus to Punggol road or TPE stop to change over to 965/39/969 instead of wasting so much time within Sengkang west and east towns.
Also note though 103 is another Punggol-Serangoon service, it does offer Sengkang West residents direct connection to YCK road / Serangoon that they will like and do not have today. Given number of HDBs mushrooming in this region, sooner or later this will be needed. Moreover, current 103 already duplicated 70/43/43M route, so there is no change to that.
By making this change, you give also Sengkang West residents direct connection to Hougang missing today plus a good trunk service to Upper Serangoon residents. So my proposal does serve a lot of benefits as well if you look at it from broader perspective. Anyway, these are my thoughts!! Cheers.
Svc904 loading can be quite lousy sometimes...(probably due to lousy frequency from BSEP)

My suggestion:
Reroute Service 142 to Boon Lay - Potong Pasir (Loop) and introuduce Service 149 as Boon Lay - Punggol (Loop)
Route for Service 149:
Uses Service 157's route, uses the Pan Island Expressway, Central Expressway, Tampines Expressway and loop at Punggol Bus Interchange

Not sure if there really is that much demand between Punggol and Yishun to warrant a dedicated service.
From TPE stop, you have 39 & 969
From Punggol road, you have 965
And if you want to do a jolly ride, then you have 85 to take you direct.
Don't see potential for another service from Punggol to Yishun.
Punggol to Tampines is the one that is needed for PGL residents right now.

Hi mr sbs6750E, no point. Duplication of a portion of sbs 88, 89, 109. Cheers.

Hi mr smb145B, Punggol to tampines is better served by sbs 34 than 39. Sbs 34 goes inside Punggol and sbs 39 only serves those within walking distance of TPE stops. Cheers.

Hi mr busanalyser. Sbs 85 is a direct service for those inside punggol especially those who lives near Riveria LRT a direct and fast route to khatib mrt. It is certainly not a joy ride as claimed. Travelling time is 30 mins which is comparable to a guy who needs to take sbs 3 and walk across long bridge to take sbs 39 and smrt 858 and 969 with no guarantee of seats. Also comparable to take sbs 83 to Punggol road walk across bridge take smrt 965. This is true for those who lives near Riveria LRT. Not those near Punggol MRT.
So definitely not a jolly ride. Travelling on sbs 85 gives you a guaranteed seat and may not lose out much in terms of timing. Cheers.

Yes missed 858. I think you meant Punggol to Tampines is served by 34 bcoz 39 I would say is more for Pasir Ris than Tampines.

SBST won't use 44, 144, 244 etc.
But somehow there is premium 544.
