I think it is time LTA or SBST gives a reason as to why it is terminating the operation of Premium services? This is not one of case now. Every second week they make a new announcement.
Services that will stop on the TPE slip road new bus stop come 24 August. 39, 109 and 168 will be introduced at a later date as they left out spaces for them at the bus stop plates.
Now we have to wait for SMRT's press release for 858 and 969.
Additional bus stops for Services 3, 27, 34, 88, 89 and 89e along the slip roads of Tampines Expressway near the Punggol Flyover

SBS will be a headache to cross over buses to Premium services, the first to kick out will be single deckers.

I suspect that has got to do with a conflict of interests.
On one hand it is operating premium services with public buses during peak hours (where buses are most required) charging a high fare, on the other hand it is using government funds for additional buses and also to run additional trips on basic services.
Perhaps they should operate them using their private buses operations.

Maybe 2 Bsep MAN..
There will be 2 buses that will do full route 882 and 1 bus that will do 882A. In AM, I hope there is 1 bus that does dedicated downroutes from Montreal Link
I have checked the new posters of the private operators taking over Premium 532 and 558...the route is somewhat amended. Number is retained, but it will no longer ply Fullerton Rd, instead plying Marina Boulevard, Bayfront Ave (non-stop) and Suntec City.

What do you mean by outside of the timing?

most likely that the premium services transferred out are due to the bus deployment issue. all the services transferred out now are using MK4 which is going off very soon and SBST cant be transferring buses here and there to replace those retired MK4 and even if they do so, the most can last another 2 years? and dun think KUB/citaro can cope with the passenger volume which MK4 can take and DDs are too wasteful as well on these premium routes...

But they also get Premium fare for each pax... and if you see most DD premium routes have between 65-70 pax at least every morning... so thought it is highly profitable for them.

i never say that they are terminating/transferring the premium services with DDs...those with DDs are definitely profitable.. those with SDs, cannot say never earn but not earn much. so without MK4 buses, are they going to deploy 2 KUB to replace 1 MK4? or deploy 1 DD to replace 1 MK4?
Maybe you can ask Gus Chong, as he say that SBST will not be operating any premium service in 2015... not sure where he get the info from. Maybe he work in SBST.
