By the way Citaro doors are also manufactured by Bode.
Yay, you finally found out the company whuich manufactures the doors! And yes, you are right. The Bode logo is the same as those on the Hispano O405s. Ever saw TIB1143Y with a Masats logo on the front door... So this explains why the components of the MAN NL323F Masats doors are so similar to that on the O405 doors! Anyway, what I mean is that TIB449Y has this round bonnet thing at the top of the door and it is connected to the top door arm by a long line... No Masats logo...

*TIB811J (AMDEP SP) on RWS8, EDS showing 'OFF SERVICE' even when it's on service...

I had observed some bendies and noticed that many side covers are sealed with a rectangular sticker associated with the Singapore Police Force each...can someone clear my doubts as to what is that and what's the purpose of it?

These are the buses chartered for Airshow Shuttle.. They had to undergo checks and stickered with those tapes as proof...
I'm new here but I hve always been fascinated by buses in Singapore. I hve a general observation to make. While there is a lot of talk about services, there are some general things I find bothersome. For eg, bus drivers are taught to come close to the kerb to allow ease of boarding, but the angle they tend to come in at places the back door further away from the kerb resulting in pple having to take big steps, jump or get dwn on the road which sort of defeats the purpose I feel. Also with today's hydro-pneumatic no step buses, the height between the bus and the road can quite high. Not very friendly is it. Any comments?

Serious bus bunching for 307 in the evening 7.30pm just now...
The correct sequence was supposed to be: 738M (02), 215H (06), 213M (04) and 212R (03).
End up 215H is at the front tanking all the passengers (Full load all the way to the door), 738M just follow closely behind 215H with around 10 pax (half-hiding so all pax will board 215H), and 213M with only 1 pax in bus behind 738M. 7 mins later, 212R came by, half full. So i can safely say within 10 mins, 4 buses came. And at that time 307 only had 6 buses (TQ have went back depot), meaning the rest will have to wait until siao?
SMB220S (KJDEP 173) - ninja front doors bang like mad when closing! 'DOOR CLOSING' sign still has plastic wrapping from the factory...
TIB496K (WLBP 171) - SK Jewellery ad peeling off, exposing dirty SMRT and TIBS livery at the right offside... Need new ad soon?
TIB518G (AMDEP 67) - SK Jewellery ad peeling off, exposing dirty SMRT livery at the rear right engine cover... Need new ad soon?
TIB752X (KJDEP SP) - loud exit doors when closing, can barely hear the 'DOOR CLOSING' chime... Front doors tend to swing when opening, growling engine like TIB449Y...

-SMB224G (KJ SP) very dirty exterior, especially left back. Ticket machine was out of order too.
-SMB213M (KJ 307) left side rear brake light glass broken. At the side wrote 28/2, so i assume the damage was done on 28/2?
-SMB56A (KJ 172) has alot of dents and markings of different dates on its exterior, especially on the right side and the rear..
-SMB105S (KJ172) door closing chime spoil.
-SMB42P entered CCK int OFF SERVICE with some BCs in the bus at around 8am, then reverse from parking lot, turn one round around the int, go back same parking space at about 815am, then leave the int OFF SERVICE at around 820am..what it doing arh?
-There were FIVE 927s in service on AM peak today. Was it due to the 734Z accident? The five buses were SMB103Y, SMB119C, SMB208D, TIB766G and TIB828L.
-For service 307, from the observation for the past 1.5 weeks, the perm AP buses will still jump shift every week. For example, for this week, its as follows:
SMB215H (AP01) --rest day Sunday
SMB210X (AP02) --rest day Monday
SMB211T (AP03) --rest day Tuesday
SMB212R (AP04) --rest day Wednesday
SMB213M (AP05) --rest day Thursday
SMB214K (AP06) --rest day Friday
On respective rest days, SMB209B BCs will take the bus and drive that slot. For example, today the BCs drive SMB212R on AP04. Tmr they will drive SMB213M on AP05. Their rest day is every Saturday.
Next week, SMB214K will be AP01, SMB215H will be AP02...etc
Therefore, its confirmed that they will be no replacement bus for SMB209B
TIB815Z on 912AM02 (TIB1129P slot).
