SBS Transit maintenance also actually becoming a bit cui recently... Probably because got more BSEP stuff to settle, so not that good maintenance anymore?
Spotted the D&K Enterprises tag or something like that on TIB831B's PIS back side (from the back of the PIS, it is on the left, stickered to the side)...

Like you said, just hope that maintenance of buses will improve after the government take over their ownership.

Yah, let us all hope for this!

Yar! Think the decent ones are SMB59S and SMB103Y only...the rest alot of problems..
307P pathetic load leh for the past few days..majority pax still prefer to board 307/307E when both 307 and 307P pull into the bus stop..ever seen 307 packed to the door but 307P only has 1 pax inside...

307P is a bad move, can just give 307 BSEP fleet add (at least two buses), then no need to waste resources...

exactly! i still see 307P buses with less than 10 pax onboard..307 BCs are complaining that no one dare to board 307P, and everyone squeeze onto 307 even though its full...and on multiple occasions 307 and 307P pair together, sometimes 307, 307E and 307P all come together.
TIB701T bus stopping light not working..only the bell is working..

LTA should not have started 307P in the first place, instead they need to know that they should more buses (all BSEP fleet adds) on 307 itself, at least 2 buses (1 A/P and 1 split) will do already... Then the frequency can improve and finally people no need to complain of overcrowding on 307 and all this 307P would not be there in the first place... LTA, please wake up.
Today, when I took SBS1688K on 84:
A female passenger wanted to alight at Blk 604A and had pressed the bell, but the female BC was unaware of the bell sounding as it was too soft... When I told her about this just as she was about to turn to Punggol Central, she had to swerve into the small waiting area after the bus stop to let the passenger alight... She asked me if it was her fault or the passenger's fault. I told her that the bell was too soft, that was why she was unaware of the bell sounding. I told her to tell the depot about this issue, so this incident wouldn't happen again...
Anyway, only for today (due to NDP rehearsal today):
Bus services which end their trips at Marina Centre Ter (like 171 and 75) had to loop at Temasek Ave (Opp The Ritz-Carlton bus stop), as the parking lots for the bus services at the terminal area were blocked... This meant that buses had to start trips immediately from The Esplanade. The bus stop (Seating Gallery) outside the floating platform was barricaded due to the NDP rehearsal. Thus, passengers going for the NDP rehearsal had to alight at The Esplanade, leading to huge crowds at the bus stop...
Originally posted by SBS3688Y:the new TPE bus-stop next to Sengkang will also serve route to PGL and northern areas. the front of the busstop will serve route turning left to Sengkang. the rear of busstop will serve routes turning to PGL or continue onto TPE. look at the road markings and you will know why.
Makes sense otherwise it would be stupid to make the interchange stop and have different services call in each direction. I don't know why there was this speculation in first place.

This whole P variant is a very stupid move. LTA is anyway buying buses. If it felt that these services need more buses, should have just added low floor buses to these services on their existing parent route with same bus number. Weird ways of trying hard to please!

Yea, I mentioned a number of times that LTA must add buses to 307 itself, not introduce a duplicating service which does not have worthy loading for its existence! They must learn that new routes are not all the point.

240P is a failure... Have seen on 4-5 occasions... Bus leaving Lakeside MRT with 6-12 pax only. People still prefer 240.
268P is another failure.. At AMK MRT, bus normally leaves with not more than 10 pax on board.
LTA just has too much money to waste on these P variants. Would have been better if DDs were added to 268 instead - would have done the job or introduce 76M between YCK MRT that would loop @ AMK ave 3/YCK road junction.
For 143, it did the right thing by bringing in 143M. Why didn't they do 143P here also? 143M is doing so much better than the stupid buses deployed on the P variants.

What do all these have in common? This shows just 1 thing: for singaporeans, old habits die hard. They are not used to changes and they prefer the old brands, sbs transit and smrt. Cheers.

Agree totally! Just hope that later LTA dont remove all these services (240P, 268P, 307P ... ) saying low loading and that these services (240, 268, 307) are not having heavy loads ....

I heard from 912P commuters that 912P is kind of useless as the bus would arrive together with 912 most of the time..which isn't helping the fleet enough..
