Originally posted by SMB42P:Was onboard SMB209B (172PM05) at around 7.05pm to 7.47pm. Boarded from Boon Lay. At the stop (Choa Chu Kang Ave 1, Blk 204), after alighting some pax that wished to alight, the bus just stopped there, with both entrance door and exit door still open. It just stayed there for at least 2-3 mins. Glanced at the driver console and realised he is 9 mins ahead of schedule (timing was shown in red flicking background). Think HQ had warned him to stop the bus. The time that the bus entered the bus bay was 7.35pm
The conversation next made me want to laugh. A pax thought something happened so went to ask the driver if the bus got problem. The reply was:
"I am too early. Will get fine one" (in Chinese since he is a PRC driver)
The pax decided to say:
"So you scared fine so made the whole bus load of pax wait in the bus. So if we complain to SMRT you wun get fined lah!"
Epic win answer and driver just kept apologising and say he has to keep with the rules.
After another 3 mins, the bus started moving towards cck int. This time console showed BC was 4 mins ahead of schedule and has turned green. A total of 6 mins delay thanks to that! Bus only left bus bay at 7.41pm.
Macho siah...!
* SMB205L broken livery and rear SMRT logo...
* SMB312K rear right tyre smoking...
* TIB821E repainted rims...
* TIB859Y having articulator joint problems, unusual shakiness and loud cranking...
* TIB1142A front SMRT logo panel not closed properly, radiator getting even louder than before, and the rear "EXIT" stickers pasted very near to "Door Closing" sign then the middle one...
* TIB1229J middle Exit doors couldn't close tight, leaving a gap...
TIB1083L (KJ106) On 172 today..while on the bumpy road along old cck road, articulator made very loud sounds, not the squeaking sound, but more like friction or metal rubbing sound. Last time rmb user carbikebus say some liquid thingy..forgot le..but yea..was very loud throughout the whole journey.
TIB553D (KJ 190/307*) on usual slot. BC changed the destination to "Ends at CCK INT/MRT/LRT" but didnt renumber to 307E. Therefore side and front EDS still shows 307. Wonder how many pax will have to alight the bus at CCK INT when they realise the bus is actually 307E, not 307.
* SMB131R, the 1st OC to get restickered livery since SMB1H had refurbished exterior...
* SMB341B, the 1st MAN to get restickered livery...
* TIB721K with only the front repainted...
* TIB998D still have part of the UK Profitable Plots ad on the driver's window as shade...
* TIB1035B got new pairs of concertinas and rearside bumper went missing...
* TIB1076H has squeeky articulator...
* TIB1246J refurbished, with new pairs of concertinas...
SBS9822L EDS controller unit is installed where the old CCTV TV used to be. The new CCTV TV is installed at the blank spot instead (on other B10TLs the EDS controller unit is installed there).
* SMB101C, the 2nd OC to get restickered livery...
* SMB133K exterior refurbished...
* SMB268E right Entrance door flap still not repair yet...
* SMB324B driver seen washing his bus at Bt. Panjang Temp. Int. in the morning...
* TIB1102R, TIB1145S rearside bumper went missing...
Originally posted by TIB1234T:* SMB268E right Entrance door flap still not repair yet...
SMRT don't care about the Masats door flaps... So many buses got this problem: SMB222L (both flaps), SMB237U (left), SMB238S (right) and so on... SMB220S front door flaps gonna spoil, doors closing so violently... SMB198Z is worst, both Entrance doors close very violently and both flaps damaged like mad!
Concaved Hispano logo. Only found on TIB1125A onwards Habits...
TIB491Z sensor installed outside as if like a CCTV...

* SBS9639A repainted...

Because extension, 3049 and 3050 joined the crew. 970H need keep in view
911S201 do not perform 911E trip during peak hours already(can confirm only for PM peak). 911 EDS throughout. Will be followed by 911PM03 closely(dual bendy).
Instead, starting from peak hours, selected 911AP(s), likely 911PM03, will show 911E on EDS.

yar...what i can confirm is 970H definitely in it le..whole week on 300 same slot (minus thursday as i didnt do spotting). 3049 and 3050 like take over each other this week leh..or are they on different AP slots?
Originally posted by carbikebus:Saw SMRT personnels in civilian taking bus arrival timings at Orchard for svc 77,106,171,190,700,972…Hmmm prepared for coming months?Very rare sight indeed,SBST i know done this before..
cck int also, at 190 boarding berth, as well as 172/300 boarding berth during AM peak
307 new law...now if the trip for 307 is 307E, BC are to renumber the EDS to 307E before going towards the boarding berth to pick up pax..EDS will display 307E from cck int to yewtee, back to cck and then teck whye.
But apparently split shift bus dun really care leh..only saw this practice on AP buses..

Then how come 911S201 with 911E was spotted by me leaving my house bus stop at 7.50am? Driven by perm driver. After 911S201 is 911AP01 (1032J) not 1070Z.
Sequence of 911 is Suspect 487L or 486P ->1139K -> 1032J -> 1039R -> 1070Z -> 1047S -> 283K -> 284H ->
Just now 284H on 187...
TIB1104K n TIB1170T always cameo on feeders idk why
Whereas 1233X and 1234T frequented WLBP bendies like 960/962/964. It is like WLBP SP than WLDEP SP
