Hi mr bus analyser, sbs 154 does not go to commonwealth ave. Think yours is typo error. Should be commonwealth ave west. They are different roads. Cheers.

Yes that's correct... Should be west.. You really read posts in detail, huh!? ;)

For topics like loading, the road names and numerical figures must be correct. Or else it defeats the purpose! Imagine typing a wrong figure and the loading may not be credible! Cheers!

Sv 101 from IMH to Serangoon via Buangkok Link
Date: 30-may14, time: around 745, bus: WEG
i will report only from Buangkok Link
Buangkok Link -- 22, 34
Buangkok Green -- 38 (-3/7)
HG Ave 4 -- 48 (-1/11)
HG st 51 -- 69 (-1/22)
HG Ave 8 -- 74 (-2/7), 72 (-8/6)
HG Ave 4 -- 75 (-3/6), 77 (-3/5)
HG Central -- 80 (-1/4), 48 (-37/5) HG MRT
Upper Serangoon Rd -- 50 (-4/6), 54 (-3/7), 52 (-10/8), 54 (-1/3), 48 (-11/5), 49 (-2/3), 47 (-5/3), 46 (-1/0) I alighted here before Serangoon Central
** for all those who question need for DDs on 101, if DDs are not there, it will inconvenience ppl who wish to go beyond HG MRT. I saw people who boarded on ave 4 did not alight at HG MRT... They wanted to go to upper serangoon...
** with more flats coming up along Buangkok link, already think, Sv might need more 2 DDs in future
** If you see! highest boarding at st 51... LTA should consider making 101 both directions on st 51 to provide more doorstep connectivity. Already 325 is there for IMH.

Sbs 101 - one of the highly worked bus service around hougang area. The only service that goes inside buangkok link. One of the rare services to go to st 51. Kudos to this service!

Dup dup - LTA should make 101 bi-directional on st 51... There is 325 on st 52.. So many people along st 51 will benefit who have the service only in one direction.

If you take MRT on EW line, how would you prefer to travel to airport cargo?
1. Alight at Simei and take sv 9
2. Alight at Tampines and take sv 19
3. Alight at Pasir Ris and take sv 89
Choose your option.
1 is the best
3 is the worst

Why is 3 bad? Takes you to Pasir Ris quite fast...

Firstly, SL will be damn tired as it only reach WLBP at 2am in the morning. (unrelated)
Secondly, it was freaking crowded, i have to stand beside the driving cabin until Sungei Kadut area as i was unable to move as not many pax alighted throughout the journey
Thirdly, with BSEP, load cant cope with MAN, this bus either needs bendies or DDs. Freq during peak hour is as expected- late
Fourthly, Bus was late for nearly 20 mins when it reached WRI as there were jam at Kranji, im not sure if this will affect his meal break or not as he is scheduled to have his dinner at 6.55pm but only reach at 7.10pm and ends meal break at 7.25pm
Previously lot of local works as a SL cause of the 5 days week scheme but manpower issue that the co revert back to 6 days work.NZ bus drivers got rotation of 4 days and 5 days week of working scheme..Here its too stressful and tiring..

Freq sucks

Bishan St 13 -- 18 (-14/3), 11 (-10/3)
** DD picked up 70+ pax on Thomson with most alighting at Marymount. This may also account for the poor capacity on 851.
** Quite a few pax alighted at Marymount and Bishan St 22 mall stop.
** This explains why DD was added to sv 54. The loading upto Thomson is very well managed by SDs, it is when it comes to Thomson when DDs are needed.

Why need to switch? 325 still takes to HougAng green mall... What about st 51 residents who deserve 101 to ply both directions... Anyway St 52 residents managing with 325 one way.

We were discussing Sv 9/89 here.. Not Sv 3.
NEX stop at 6.30pm
Total chaos with so many pax
6.31 - Sv 22 - 28 pax boarded
6.32 - Sv 53 (could not count)
6.34 - Sv 81 (35 pax board)
6.36 - Sv 53
6.36 - Sv 70 (I guess should be 40+ pax)
6.36 - Sv 43 (around 40/45pax board)
6.37 - 315 (18 pax board)
6.40 - Sv 22 (45/50 pax board)
6.40 - Sv 70 (must be 30+ pax)
then went to opp side to take 116. Noticed high loading for even Sv 22 at NEX.... Guess for people on Boundary rd but saw quite few go upper deck.. Sv 82 did not call stop in 10-12 mins I was there. 43/70 as usual heavy loading.
