Loading on svc 24 (SBS8268T) from Changi Airport PTB3 at around 5.40pm:
This is not a proper loading level record because I didn't manage to count the number of pax onboard, nor did I count the number of pax boarded at the first few bus stops, because I was dealing with some trouble there. I only started counting at the second stop along Upper Changi Rd East and only counted number of pax boarding and alighting.
6-7 pax were onboard when I boarded the bus at PTB3. At PTB1 & PTB2, at least 6 pax each boarded. By the time the bus left PTB2 it was fully seated but with no standees. Many pax boarded along Airport Blvd so by the time the bus entered ECP there were 8-10 standees.
At the first stop along Upper Changi Rd East (@6pm), about 10 pax alighted while at least 10 boarded. After that:
Upper Changi Rd East: -0/0, -0/0, -0/2, -0/4, -0/4, -1/3
New Upper Changi Rd: -15/? (Tanah Merah Stn) (I alighted here)
**I failed to count the number of pax boarding at Tanah Merah Stn. Before TNM, the bus was already packed to the door, while amazingly after TNM, it's almost the same. Seems that at least 12 pax boarded at Tanah Merah.
**2 stops before Tanah Merah, I noticed a svc 38 bus following this bus. At these 2 stops many people (at least 5 each) went to take 38 instead.
**Seems like svc 24 can be very crowded during certain times of the day. Sometimes I also take svc 24 from Bedok to Tanah Merah in the evening (lazy to take MRT) and it's always fully packed. Once I travelled in the evening from Bedok all the way to Changi Airport and noticed that many people alighted at the last stop along Upper Changi Road East. (seems that they went shopping at Bedok before taking a bus back home)
**Saw a svc 20 DD along Upper Changi Rd East turning to Simei Rd @6.05pm. I could only see that upper decker was at least 1/2 full (most likely fully seated).
I wonder if off-peak and weekend loading patterns are useful here.. I would like to post some of my trips here (although they may not be solely for loading records) but I am only free during weekends.

Loading on sv 45 from Bedok Road to YCK around 07.30am B9TL
Bus already came with 11 pax on board ( 2 on lower deck, 9 on upper deck)
Bedok Road -- 27 (0/18), 37 (0/10), 46 (-1/10)

Hougang Ave 3 -- 56 (0/0), 56 (0/0), 58 (-9/11)

YCK Road -- 48 (-12/4), 42 (-11/3) I alighted here...
** Marked in bold is all DD significant loading
** Many long distance travelers, upper deck was 90% occupied on average
** Lot of people board in Bedok town and alight along Eunos Link (understood). I noticed lot of people on upper deck, who boarded in Bedok alighted along Lor Ah Soo and Serangoon as well
** To my surprise, many people continued to board the bus along AMK Ave 10 to YCK side and when I left bus, it still had 42 pax on board
** No doubt sv 45 received a mass upgrade of DDs and also so many fleet add
** We can encourage such use of buses for long distances, when you make some sectors express and introduce higher capacity buses for more comfortable journey. Almost for the entire journey, no passenger needed to stand as peak loading was 81 pax, yet anything above 70 pax is DD worthy.

* Due to some difficulties (e.g. too many pax onboard and people exiting from the front door), these figures may not be accurate. However the no. of pax onboard is accurate. (About Tampines Int, I only counted 29 pax exiting the bus)
- A lot of people are still taking the private buses at Changi Business Park. At the bus stop along Changi Business Pk Ctrl 2 where I boarded, I saw 20+ pax taking a private bus towards Tanah Merah MRT Stn, before svc 20 came a few minutes later. It seems that even if svc 20 arrives earlier they will still not take it.
- Some people alight at Changi Sth Ave 1 to transfer to CGL, despite the long walkway and the poor frequency.. Most people still alight at Simei though.
- A svc 38 bus followed this bus from Simei Rd (aft Upp Changi Rd East) all the way to PIE flyover, so at many stops more than a half of people boarded svc 38 which seemed to be less crowded. But svc 20 still has significant loading in Simei. (I think the -5/16 is recorded wrongly but there were really more than 10 pax boarding)
- At the time I took the bus, most people still didn't have problem boarding the bus.

I think this reflects the loading well. There is still significant queue of people taking private bus at Tanah Merah MRT in am as well. Maybe people have 1 year pass, so still taking it. Once it expires, people might move yo sv20. Also good idea to introduce DDs coz at Simei MRT especially in am, people have to squeeze in and some left behind have to wait for 12-15 mins for next bus. Remember all these are office ppl, who do not want their shirts to get creased. I can only see the loading on Sv 20 going up, and in future, this service getting many more DDs.

Dd on TPE with 63 pax.. Not bad loading considering so many more buses added... But thankfully because it is DDs, people can go seated.
Jalan Kayu -- 72 (-7/16) I alighted here and took 86 back to Sengkang.
** Loading on this service will only increase in future with more industrial hubs along ave 10 and HdB/condo construction at ave 9.
** High # of pax boarding/alighting between Bedok and Tampines towns. Difficult to estimate how many people from Bedok region actually go to Tampines, but from my loading observation it seems, most people who board in Bedok alight in Tampines and there is a fresh load that boards in Tampines towards Woodlands
** Jalan Kayu had a big number of people boarding for Woodlands... Wondering would these be people who crossover from 39/103... Coz Punggol road people would already change to 161 and do not need to take 86 all the way to Jalan Kayu to change.

3105M is a dd and not Scania. Looking at your loading, also seems it has to be a dd as Scania cannot fit in more than 70-75 pax at the max limit unless it is school children. Also interesting to see no one board bus after AMK ave 3 junction on YCK road.

That is AM peak loading in one direction for Sv 113.
* loading not even reaching late 20s and average loading below 20 pax

* Lot of people use 168 to connect to Tampines MRT, and from Tampines MRT to HdB hubs around Tampines ave 9.
1830-2030 weekdays at Tampines MRT, 168 and 27 is always fully filled.
Another discovery I had is svc 28, Bedok mrt to tampines int and vice versa, loadings can be very high even during off-peak, DDs fully packed.

* Loading extremely poor towards Punggol road during AM peak
* Major loading is from Anchorvale to Sengkang MRT
* Wondering if 372A would make sense during AM/PM peak from Anchorvale Dr to Sengkang and vice-versa considering this is the area of major loading.
* Punngol Road link might still be important for those from Anchorvale, who want to change to another service on Punggol road (# people very low though)
I think it is because not really convinient to transfer to 27/89 at Compassvale Rd during AM. You can try PM peak in reverse direction (Punggol Rd to Anchorvale) and see if people from 27/89 will transfer to 372 or not.
Svc request: 31 8am, TPY bound. I always see full buses, but I wonder where the loading is going to at Bedok MRT everytime.

Not sure because how do you propose people who want to transfer to sv 27/89 do otherwise. They would have to transfer at Compassalve Rd anyway.
