Svc request: 31 8am, TPY bound. I always see full buses, but I wonder where the loading is going to at Bedok MRT everytime.
What does the bolded part mean?

Noticed that it always leave Bedok MRT with a full bus. Looks like working crowd, with some students from TJC, but can't figure out where they are probably heading to, other than Bedok South. (which is within walking distance)

Could be to Marine Parade.. You walk down from MRT you get sv 31... rather than walking to Bedok temp interchange and taking 196/197.

Loading on sv 30 full route @ 7.20am
I had a meeting this morning at Boon Lay at 10am, and took a 2 hr ride from Bedok on sv 30. Since route is too long, I did not map all the loading/unloading at each stop that I do normally eg: (-x,y) so I will only post loading by bus stop.

** 50+ pax loading from Tanjong Katong Rd till the end
** The loading was higher towards the Boon Lay leg, but surprisingly it was already off-peak by then, but loading was +70 pax
** When I alighted at Boon Lay Interchange, there was a big queue who were boarding another DD at the bay.
Sv 30 and sv 174 long queues at boon lay int quite common esp sundays where the queue can beat 241 and 243
Noticed that sv 17 has high loading along Bedok North Ave 4 towards Bedok Temp Int during evening peak.. Just took sv 17 back home and reached Bedok North Ave 4 at 6pm, and more than 50 pax boarded at the first 4 bus stops starting from opp Blk 3011
Tampines Blk 484 bus stop always super crowded during morning peak. Only have sv 28 & 29, both freq quite poor.

There is need for more buses around Tampines Ave 9. They should seriously consider re-routing sv 8,18 or 38 via Ave 9.

Despite the freq of 2-6 mins...
Coz of industrial workers and residents at blocks ninety something (17 is like the organs of transportation there), as well as SAC students, at least two-thirds of them take 17...

Re-route 18?
If they aren't gonna axe it might as well make it useful?

Precisely!
I decided to take a round trip on sv 119 this morning to check out the loading. BC told me AM loading is fine, PM loading is poor. So need to understand what that means.

* Peak Loading Direction 1 = 63 pax (avg bet 40-60 pax)
* Peak loading direction 2 = 45 pax (avg bet 20-40 pax)
* Significant # of people alight along HG St 21 (around 20 pax)
* Lot of construction coming up along Punggol Field, Punggol west
* Within Punggol town loading still around 30 pax
* Rivervale area sees 50+ pax loading, given 119 and 136 are the only two trunk services here, both with not very good frequency.
Now with average loading for some roads.

* Loading was much lower than I expected through the route. Time difference w/ bus in front was 07 mins.
* Maybe with the many bus additions, loading has now got spread out
* There is still value in having trunk services ply inner road of estate. Just like st 52 in Pasir ris got many pax, who actually alighted around Tampines MRT. Clear preference for sv 15 over sv 15 --> EWL
* Many people along Kaki Bukit boarded and alighted at Eunos MRT (surprisingly only link to Eunos compared to sv 21/60 on Bedok Reservoir Rd)

Because you are 40mins early. From 8am onwards, 15 will sometimes struggle to clear the loading at Pasir Ris INT. (Thanks TP)

49 should be ard 30-40 pax max provided if there isnt any 240 or 98 in front
334 still has heavy loadings 49 kop about 5-10 pax at most

I have done 49/199 recently - maybe a month back. I can share the loading trends with you - no problem.
I have tried to catch 139 DD but been very difficult. 139A DD okay?

this assumption is from AM or PM?
AM time sv 49 gets between 50-80 pax towards Lakeside MRT. Have u seen that?
PM time, I agree max loading reaches is 45-50 pax and I havent yet seen DD well utilized. But AM, you need the DDs.
