sv 87 was once close to becoming full fleet DD.. before BSEP started spamming BSEP Citaros on it... 87 should be 21 buses full fleet DD... good enough to cater to loading.
sbs3004x, if you are posting your own deployments on this thread to emphasize what the bus capacity should be to cater to the loading, then please mention your comments on why you are making those changes... otherwise it does not make much sense.. thank you.
121 is doing v well between Tehlok Blangah and Tiong Bahru... will post the loading from this morning later.
113's morning loading now v bad because of 53 and 45 koping the AM load but evening peak still v high. Seen fully seated 113 (with few standees) during AM and 113A sometimes empty. 113A would be removed from AM if loading still dosent improve soon. Ppl along lorong ah soo already forgot they can take 113 to MRT instead of squeezing on 45 and 53 after both of these svcs got tremendous improvements
113 freq is bad, AM peak 45 and 53 very frequent, i can say 3 53s within 10 mins while 113 15 mins 1 bus. Evening peak freq also bad but demand is v high, evening 45 from serangoon loading gets lower.
When i took 113 1 month ago after 7.30am the buses will be really packed but now alr experience a sharp drop. However from kovan to yuying sec loading still remains high in am peak

I think from Lor Ah Soo, it does not make a difference if you go to Kovan or Serangoon.
45A/53A/45/53 - so many options to Serangoon while only 113/113A to Kovan.
45A also operates DDs.. and DD gets 40-45 pax in the very first stop on Lor Ah Soo, 20-25 pax on next stop, and 10-15 pax on 3rd stop.

I dont think 113A will get withdrawn - still have loads from HG Ave 1 to Kovan MRT...

I've been on the ground from 6.30am to 7.30am at hougang st 21 bus stop, buses towards upp paya lebar road has more load then the other side towards kovan station, at 7.10 i saw a citaro full to the door towards upp paya lebar road but opp side at most few standees, can say 113's AM loading drop alot alr

Seen a perm indian 113 BC flooring at 60km/h throughout whole route.
Problem with 113 now is AM the freq is unreliable lesser ppl wan to take it as they are rushing to work, evening peak no change, demand still v high.
Originally posted by carbikebus:seriously i got no issue with svc 87,its running very fine.Bus freq is reliable..SBST know their business.
Another reliable svc is 25.. 5 mins can come 3 buses
87 easy to control cause most of its route traffic not very heavy + route's quite short and straight.
113A is quite unreliable even IRIS cannot predict it's timings. BCs love to play punk on this SWT.

It does make a diff, ppl going towards places that only can be reached by circle line such as one-north they will prefer serangoon and meanwhile ppl like the luxury of sitting on a DD to the mrt station. I have tried 45A DD and ppl will move up as the BC will wait for them to alight before driving off so they can slowly alight... not all moved up.. when lower deck was full BC had to politely ask the pax to go upstairs.. Lorong Ah Soo is not a small town if SBST can improve 113's freq and do some things to attract ppl to take 113, i dun think they would need to waste so much resources on 45 and 53 for such a small stretch of their route. Problem is they failed to balance both sides, they instead made the ppl of lorong ah soo to commute to serangoon and reduced the demand of ppl going to kovan alr.. Not like last time when 113 had to rely on S-shift buses for AM peak

I think Lor ah Soo people are pretty happy with 45/53.. Both services have got significant enhancement... PM peak now from opp NEX stop, you see Sv 53B leaving with 25-30 pax... AM peak also load well managed bet 53/53A/45/45A..
Also to go to CCL, people also take 62 and get down at Tai Seng... When from one stop so many options, people not really need to go to 113 stop.
yep. But 113's evening peak's demand is still heavy
I will be doing lot of loading observation in coming week as I have holiday and family is away. I will observe Sv 372, WRI, JE, Boon Lay, Clementi, NEL area, Tampines, Bedok.
Sv 972 ADL timings at Dhoby Ghaut (Orchard road)
16.32 (ADL 3503), 16.43 (MAN), 16.56 (ADL 3501), 17.04 (MAN), 17.18 (ADL 5002)
