not every sv107 have 30-35 pax boarding at lavender station during that timing.. esp if there is a sv61/175 infront whereby pax going to kallang bahru will board whatever bus came first...

i tot we were clear that if 165 dosent come first pax will take 116? and it's only for a few stops other than that it's loading is less than 20pax for the rest of the route

** The wait for this sv18 was pretty long after the previous one departed at approx 1930++ hrs. Some commuters switched to sv28/sv38 (which were beside the sv18 berth) instead out of frustration.
** Most pax took sv18 from Tampines Int/Ave 7/Ave 2 to connect to the flats along Bedok North Rd/Bedok North Ave 2. Few took it to connect from Tampines Int to Ave 7/Ave 2 (due to apparent duplication with 4/8/38/81 and its slightly longer waiting time as mentioned above), while none of the residents along Bedok North Rd & Bedok North Ave 2 took it to connect to Bedok Int.

Yes its much faster to take 119 from Sengkang MRT to Punggol field! It's direct
I suspect 103 loading is going to be quite high as it calls at bus stop right outside MRT. So people from ave 11 are going to prefer to take 103 over 806. Of course there is a big difference in frequency so it will be tread off between walking time to interchange and waiting time at bus stop outside MRT.

This loading does not provide a good picture as if it is off-peak, most services have low loads. 119 should be observed from 5.30pm to 7.30pm from Kovan instead.
Of course,SBST very smart find ways to carry more pax despite winding routes..Its a matter if choice which one they prefer..
103 will have a good loading. Givent that it calls at stops right outside MRT... you can expect people to opt for 103 than 806 to travel to Yishun ave 11.. It is a trade-off between waiting for bus v/s walking time to temp interchange.
If 103 comes first for sure, people will want to board it if they are taking MRT... if transferring to other bus then depending on which sv will prefer 103 or 806.
Not that 806 loading will drop because with new stop along st 31 and more occupancy on ave 6 and ring road flats, even 03 min frequency on 806 is not enough many times.
806 will still have their catchment..

Observed 161 has more than 80 pax on some buses.. but it also because bus gets delayed within WRI itself with the bendies waiting at stops... other buses at the stop.. this causes 161 to come to stop late... and gets packed... next bus in 03 mins.. gets around 40 pax... this is weekday loading I am talking about.
On an average... 161 number of buses good enough... unless LTA wants loading per bus to be lower... on average 60 pax per bus leaving WRI... 168 is higher with on average 70 pax per bus leaving WRI.
Loading observation on 983 E500 at 07.25am from CCK Interchange on Fri

Peak loading = 78 pax
** There was 300 A22 in front of 983 on ave 4 that was one stop ahead.
Alighting observations at CCK Interchange
08.05 - 301 - 44 pax
08.09 - 983 - 67 pax (A22)
08.12 - 301 - 38 pax
08.14 - 301 - 12 pax

08.28 - 983 - 69 pax (A22)
08.30 - 301 - 39 pax

08.36 - 983 - 84 pax (E500) (took 31 mins for bus I took to come back doing loop)
** Note the loading on 983 for each bus was super high... meaning if for A22s there was DD instead.. would have carried more pax.. avg frequency of 07 mins
++ 301 on the other hand came at avg frequency of 05 mins with aroud 40 pax per bus.

So how come the next bus that's arriving in 3 mins doesn't get delayed within WRI?
And generally, SBST buses usually dispatch their bus out 1-2mins before the timing shown on BAT. And it has always been on time so far(Given peak hours etc.) in WRI..
Looking at the behaviour, most pax will stand on 161 rather than 168. 1st reason is because 161 do not have better frequency [sometimes] compared with 168 during peak hours. 2nd reason is because 161 have shorter express distance + most pax are alighting at the 4th stop.
Do note that 168 also have downroutes~ and plenty of bunch ups.

Not really for some parts of the peak hours...it often have long queues like 168 where the fact that 168 pax. do not board the bus when there's no seats or too "crowded" to them..
168 is overly pampered..
hy guys nice to meet you

Wow... that's a lot of traveling you did in one day... good stamina... would have been more useful if you did peak hour weekday loading analysis... loading on 386 makes me laugh especially between Waterway and Punggol East... I had same observation... that full loop from Waterway to Punggol East had only 4 pax.
