Many occurences of bus bunching (at least 5 times at different time slots) on 302 today..wonder how it is going to survive the bus reliability programme...
Some service I've spotted bunching...
27, 31, 72, 88, 98, 99, 105, 145, 161, 168, 169, 170, 174, 187, 189, 190, 222, 291, 293, 302, 333, 502, 901, 903, 911/911E, 912/912E, 913/913E, 945, 950, 960, 961, 962, 965, 966, 969, 975..

Actually bunching is perfectly normal lah...
As long as a bus is just a few minutes early/late during peak, this will happen...
Spotted two SDs on Sv 161 back to back Sunday am towards WRI at compass point. First bus has 4-5 pax standing, 2nd bus might have 20-25 pax.
Bus bunching is more common nwadays with increased car usage...
Perhaps to spot more unique services w bunching, ie not so high ridership, freq mre than 12mins would be mre unique?

Or for high loading services when you spot 3 or more buses together like 1-2 weeks back I spotted 4 DDs on 74 towards Hougang at AMK. Now that is serious bunching. Surprising to me was not even one DD was empty.

Hmm some are during off peaks. Anyway, 502 bunch up was around 10:20pm at night. Spotted at IMM bus stop...was quite surprise that with such frequency, it could bunch up .__.

Govt successful with its plans... La? If this is happening, LTA needs to plan more routes around condos, which were not given high preference earlier because most people there use cars.
In my condo, almost everyone got car. I urge people, even my family to take bus/MRT, but it is difficult to make them change habit.

Tink LTA need to take a second look at BSEP, ie review on routes with BSEP input...

This is my analysis.. There are very few services where two DDs together can get high loading. 88, 179, 241 are exceptions.
Hence, I strongly advocate that bus operators and LTA educate BCs to reduce bunching as much as possible by overtaking and going ahead or keeping 2-3 mins distance to get some extra pax. Else first bus gets 90-100 pax, second bus around 20-30 pax and then no bus for 15-20 min and people complain.
Saw 4 DD on 143 bunch together at jurong town hall towards jurong east interchange at 6pm today.

Yea, for example, why give 966 5 (so many!?) BSEP fleet adds??? I think other services like 73, 74, 851 and 859 need BSEP instead (855 and 969 to have one more BSEP add)... 72 and 190 no need, because of 40+ buses...

Which is why i stated SMB3115T as perm, but got removed from sgwiki... lol
SMB3110G 4th BSEP add for 963...

SMB3114X didn't cameo much after 169 got back its BSEP perms...

Be honest...got so many BSEP also no use...route sectors experiencing jams...

And to add-on, we know that 112 and especially 113 are notorious for bad frequency... Either I think at least one BSEP fleet add or improving the frequency of these services by BSRF will help... I seriously think that some services like 963 and 966 have too many BSEP fleet adds liao... ENOUGH is enough. They should give these buses to other services which need it more, like 73, 74, 851, 852, 855 and 859... Some services too much BSEP, other too little instead... So far, I would say SBS doing well with BSEP (even our dear 120 does help relievr congestion along Alexandra Road during peak), just that LTA/SMRT giving BSEP enhancements which are not very beneficial to SMRT bus services...
