Bus Bunching Spotting/Observation

  5 975 bunched at Lot One Shoppers' Mall @ 6pm+ today due to jam at Choa Chu Kang Way Blk 414 (44469), buses there were delayed 15 - 25min, was on SMB3118K on 307, also a victim of that jam

  Anyway, the first three 975 buses (first one was 3168R) were fully packed, 4th bus had space for 10+ more pax, don't know about the fifth.

  Well, IDK how they actually pull this off, but 3 Svc 19 towards Changi Cargo bunched together after Loyang Flyover

  Traffic condition,3 svc 19 is very rare unless its 2.

  I know 2 buses bunching are common, but just gonna post on bunchings occurring on TT's first day operations

  1. Service 945: SMB3056E bunch with SG1009H at 1150hrs while at BS 43549 Regent Hts 

  2. Service 106: SG5000E bunch with SG5005S at 1230hrs while at BS 43181 Keming Pri

  3. Service 106: SG5010B bunch with SG5003Y at 1315hrs while at BS 43181 Keming Pri

  4. Service 106: SG5021U bunch with SG5026G at 1345hrs while at BS 43181 Keming Pri

  With so many rigids... bunching is by design to cater to the high loading... but 4-5 buses together is a tad too much... with 2 buses going empty... a long lag before the next set of bunched buses come together.

  SBS3440U and SBS3461J on 43 bunched at 7:00 am at Buangkok Green towards UEC.

  Not very common to see 2 full route 43 towards UEC bunch so near to Punggol.

  Both buses were very empty for some reason, unlike other days when there can be full DDs.

  with its frequency and also the "downroute" starting at tampines toward SK, there sure be bunching..

  for sv72, bunching is even more common, right from the interchange... one bus still boarding pax, the next bus waiting behind....

  They pampered Pasir Ris Group svc too much,Even 518 got time added.43M and 136 timing still like shit.
