I hate to see the SDs take huge loadings when a DD is trailing behind and cannot overtake because the stupid LTA BOCC says so.
What i know,LTA wanna add one more DD to S43 and S43M will be half DD/SD

SDs on 43/43M have always been disastrous. Too many one off high loadings, and mad squeeze even when DD is right behind. I even once shouted to tell everyone there was a DD behind!
And yes, everyone dashed off to get the DD. Sometimes the BC of the SD doesn't even open the door, and just tells everyone to board the DD.
Does bunching occur frequently on 84 now? Dont recall it happening much during SBST days..
6520C bunched with 6385B at Punggol End just now around 1820hrs...

Either there is motorists park illegally at the roundabout..Or that particular trip the bus got high loadings

43M should have full fleet SDs.

What logic? So rather have DD on 43M and then have DD behind fully empty? In that case, 43M should just give DD priority and let go ahead. Simple!
3 Hamtaros on 24 bunched together yest. but no big deal since its common

For the benefit of LTA,We rather have 3 DDs and 3 SDs bro.4 of svc 3 SDs can deployed to svc 83 & 85(2 SD each).Svc 119 two DDs can go to svc 82

Best to have 43M withdrawn. In fact, I will rather have 43M operate on 163M frequency with 1 DD.
SG5107G did not stop at YCK Rd bus stop just now while bunched with SBS3458U, despite a few pax flagging SG5107G.
6 svc 72 DDs bunched at Tampines Road towards YCK Road at 530pm yesterday. They all were back to back without a single car in between.
When the traffic light turned green, 4 of the svc 72 DDs were able to turn right onto Hougang Ave 3 whereas two got stuck.
I checked the bus app, there was 13 min gap with the DD in front, and after the 6 DDs there was another 08 min gap. This means in 21 minutes you had 7 buses = 03 min frequency.
No need to mention what the loading on DD 3-4-5-6 looked like.

43M just fine with 3 DD & 3 SD.Right now is integrated with 43 that's why full DD

Its considered not too weird since they are stuck at Newton Circus and their frequencies is way too good already.

That's why 67 needs to be split into two: route is too long and not reliable. Crazy bunching Everyday.
I recommend:
67 -> Tampines <> Middle road (loop)
986 -> CCK Interchange <> Jalan Anak Bukit (loop)
The other area is taken care by svc 66 and DTL2.

67: Tampines <> Newton Circus (loop)
986: Choa Chu Kang <> Marina Centre, via 960 (if lah).

66 also in future will shortened J East <> Lavender St(Loop)
New Service from Bedok <> Rochor Canal Rd(Loop)
Its getting unreliable these long distance non expressway plied service.

Don't need such long services with DTL2 coming. Already buses along DTL2 are running empty during peak hours along Bukit Timah/Upper Bukit Timah.
67 IMO should loop at Middle and 986 should loop at Jalan Anak Bukit.

Yes... In fact after DTL3, it maybe possible that 66 may just be JE <> Lor 1 Geylang service, given that DTL3 will cover its Little India - Bedok Reservoir part, and there will continue to be 64/65.
Originally posted by TIB 585L:suddenly 65 oso kene chop off. Coz the whole MRT Line can cover 65 route by itself
It does not. I would recommend 65 to continue to be full fleet DD if 66 is taken out. DTL3 doesn't cater to MacPherson road, Eunos Link, Bedok Reservoir and lot of stops in between. Also don't forget Little India - HarbourFront section.
Though most long distance Travelers will switch to DTL3, there will be sizeable point to point takers for 65.
65 would stay as each direction doesn't exceed 29km.
All, even if service 65, 66, 67 duplicate parts of the route for MRT, they do not necessarily mean need to be cut short or amended. There are still many bus stops which are not served by MRT. Cheers. Thanks.
would actually prefer 67 to stay the way it is and just downgrade buses.. saw ppl who take 67 direct from geylang all the way to cck b4, but if they downgrade buses cfm those foreign workers from geylang to little india will pack those downgraded buses
Due to road closure on Woodlands Road yesterday, spotted 6x 979 buses (SMB1536A > SMB346M > SMB3545K > SMB1464Z > SMB3087R > unknown old livery MAN) reaching YewTee within 5 mins, with SMB1536A, SMB346M, SMB3545K arriving back to back...
SMB1420A also spotted off service wanted to downroute from YewTee MRT. BC Let SMB3087R leave the bus stop but he drove off the bus when he saw another old livery MAN approaching, eventually SMB1420A was spotted off service parked at bus bay of Blk 619 (stop after YewTee MRT)
